This lovely three-storey cottage is based in Matlock, Derbyshire and can sleep eight people in four bedrooms.25 Bank Road is a wonderful cottage based in Matlock Derbyshire. Set over three floors, with four bedrooms: one first floor king-size, one first floor double, one first floor single with trundle and one second floor double, served by a family bathroom. Downstairs has an open-plan fitted kitchen and dining area, as well as a sitting room, with a snug area. Outside has a large lawned garden, with decking area with furniture. Roadside parking is available directly outside. 25 Bank Road is a delightful place to stay for those interested in exploring the Peak District.

Amenities: Gas central heating, woodburning stoves. Gas oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine, TV with Freeview, DVD player, a selection of books and DVDs and WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Roadside parking on first come, first serve basis. Enclosed lawn/decking area with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 0.2 miles. Note: There is a sloped ceiling in the double bedroom in the attic. Note: The steps going down into the cellar are uneven so care must be taken. Note: The paved area in the garden is uneven, please take care. Note: No hen/stag or similar.

Region: The ultimate in “year-round” appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.

Town: The popular Peak District town of Matlock, together with its neighbour, Matlock Bath, has been attracting visitors to the area since the spa was developed in the late 17th century. Set in the beautiful wooded gorge of the River Derwent, the Matlocks offer a range of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as a host of attractions including Gulliver’s Kingdom and the Peak District Mining Museum. Magnificent views down the gorge can be enjoyed from the cable car which takes visitors up to the Heights of Abraham – a great place for all the family with its showcaves, nature trail, water gardens and Owl Maze. South of the town is the start of the High Peak Cycle Trail, whilst a short drive away is the National Tramway Museum at Crich. To the north are the market town of Bakewell and Chatsworth House and Park - not to be missed!
