The Takota Cabin on the New River in Draper Va, is a great getaway cabin. A lot of open space, large dinning room table, and a fun game room in the basement. We used it for a Guys night out. Lisa, the lady that helped me book the place was as accommodating as I could have hoped for. We will be back to rent from New River Rental again.

We recently stayed here for our sons graduation from VT. It is about 50 minutes from the campus. In fact, it isn't really close to anything. That is the charm. It is beautiful--wooded--hiking trails--fire pit--pond. The house is nicely furnished and a great place for families. We had 10 people coming and going and had plenty of room. Closest city is Wytheville and has needed amenities. We really enjoyed the covered back porch. Great place to stay---and it is for sale ifyou are in the market.

This cabin sits on an amazing 185 acres. The property is so...peaceful and relaxing! There are parks close by for biking and horseback riding, the Blue Ridge Parkway is 10-15 minutes away...beautiful drive, a must see!! Planning a trip back with the whole family next time!

Our stay was quite enjoyable. The view from the cabin was great. We enjoyed the accommodations and were happy with the reasonable rates. The hiking provided beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and great opportunities to see the local wildlife. The only drawback was some of the trails were not cleared of thorny brush and needed to be cut through.
