“Wonderful time and beautiful condo...”

Reviewed 27 Apr 2015

We had a great time last summer. The condo was clean and well maintained. We were able to alternate between the pool and a close by beach area during our ten day stay. Elise was great and very supportive with our schedule Overall great experience... we hope to return very soon...

“Great unit for family”

Reviewed 13 Apr 2015

This turned out to be a wonderful place to have our grandchildren with us ages, 1 & 3. The kitchen was well equipped, we loved the king size bed in the master. Having 2 bathrooms proved to be a nice bonus. The doubles beds in the other smaller rooms were adequate for the children. Pool and hot tub were nicely kept. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We also truly enjoyed the large veranda, although not very private. Foyer was beautifully done. Very welcoming. Only downside was that there was no beach available at this time, apparently it will be back in Dec. Strong waves have done some damage to the beach area. We were able to walk to a couple of public beaches. One of the local resorts also permitted use of their beach chairs, as long as you ordered food or drinks from them. Overall very nice.

“Tiara sands holiday”

This condo complex was excellent. The condo was well maintained and had every appliance I have at home. The view was great of the ocean. We mainly used the pool even though the beach was just a step away. There is a small children's pool and a hot tub. We even had water aerobics three times a week. Other residents were very friendly. The condo staff were extremely helpful and the security of the complex was top notch. I truly recommend this place and it has been my third visit. Just to add, it is more of a condo complex with retired vacationers or families with young children. It is in a quieter part of the city on the beach. Just a walk across the street to the marina if you enjoy fishing. It has close access to buses downtown and shopping. It is a hidden gem.

“Perfect location, fabulous condo”

Reviewed 10 Mar 2013

When you enter this condo on the fifth floor, you are struck by the spaciousness and bright, cheery colours. Being a prairie person, the loud, unceasing waves was a welcome change. The balcony can be accessed from the master bedroom, the living room, or the second bedroom and is very spacious. At this time of year, it did not get any sun so we did not spend much time there. The breakfast nook outside the door is a tranquil spot with a great view for morning coffee. The condo is fully loaded and we missed nothing. The kitchen is gorgeous. The location on quiet Cerritos beach is fabulous as it is at the beginning of the strip, and it is less then a five minute walk to the El Cid Marina. There you can catch a 30 second little pontoon boat that runs from 0800-1600 to enter the Golden Zone. How convenient is that! No cost, tips welcome. The restaurant across the street, the Seafarer, was our favorite restaurant in Mazatlan with amazing food, service, music, and ambiance. Sadly, no customers as it is hidden gem and very classy. We also walked the 4 km. down the beach to La Bruja Mexican Restaurant which was always great fun with great food and 2:1 drinks. Watched a surfing competition one Sunday there from our table with ocean view. There are vendors for shrimp, fruit and vegetables that come on a schedule, and that is posted on the bulletin boards at the condo. The contact, Lee, is charming and helpful. For example our coffee maker broke down and we swiftly were left with a replacement at our doorstep. Go for a country tour with him also to see the marvelous Mexican historical towns of Copola and Concordia- very reasonable and very entertaining day. The people in the condo are very friendly. There is aquasizes in the pool three times a week with between 8-21 ladies attending from the area. We used the large hot tub daily and it is so well maintained. The pool is always in the shade which we liked and great for lap swimming. The beach is absolutely gorgeous and great to walk on. The waves are ferocious and cool so did not go swimming until I went to Stone Island on the 25 peso return boat. Must do's: Angela Peralta Theatre- attend anything and enjoy the ambiance Buy a beer for less then 3 dollars at the Best Western Hotel Freeman, where the whole 9th floor is an open balcony and pool-romantic and amazing views. The four friendly staff work so hard and greet you warmly. It is a safe environment as you have to buzz in sometimes to ent

“1st time”

Reviewed 28 Feb 2013

The only other time we were in Mexico, we used all inclusive, but with 6 family members going this time, we needed to watch our costs. We were a little apprehensives, but it turned out to be the best experience yet. The condo was recently remodeled very nicely. It was spacious and in a great location. One guest used the fold down hide-a-bed, but it was still comfortable. With 2 bathrooms, it made mornings not so chaotic. The kitchen was large with all the necassary appliances needed, including dishwsher and micrwave, which made things easier again. The condo was very clean and well maintained. It had ceiling fans and AC to take the heat and moisture out of the air that can be unconfortable in the eveneings with damp sheets. The pool and hot tub were great, along with the patio on the ocean and the beach just over the patio wall. We could walk on the beach for a couple of miles and enter right back at our building without ever hitting a street. Becasuse the building is on a main road, travel on the local transportation systemm is easy going either direction. Overall, it was awesome, great building with friendly people, very nice condo that was clean and roomy with a beautiful beach front that let you know where you were. I cannot say enough positive about it. Iam trying to recall any negative experiences and cannot come up with one. INCREDIBLE.

“Luxury Vacation”

Reviewed 20 Sep 2009

Home Away from Home!! Our entire stay from start to finish was absolutely magnificent. We were greeted by Wendy and Dale who provided us with all of the information we needed for the best experience possible. The condo exceeded our expectations with a wonderful view of the ocean, a quiet and serene pool, a sandy white private beach, 24 hour security, and warm and friendly residents. From this location we could stroll down the beach to sit at a variety of pubs or take a five minute taxi to the Golden Zone for a mere five dollars. Our vacation was extremely luxurious, yet inexpensive, in comparison to other places that we have stayed in Mexico. We will definately be returning!

“Great place on the beach”

Reviewed 17 Feb 2009

First off Dale was great. He had everything set up once we arrived and checked in throughout our stay to ensure that everything went smoothly. The pool area is great, there's a great long stretch of beach for walking and swimming, a variety of restaurants nearby and a store less than 5 minutes away that has most of the essentials. Getting into the Golden Zone is a snap as there are always Pulmonias, trucks or taxis passing by in front of the building. I would definitely recommend the place to anyone considering a trip to Mazatlan. You can hear the constant the surf from all of the bedrooms and, if you time it right, might catch the most amazing sunset that you've ever seen. Looking forward to the return trip!
