“Amazing trip”

Reviewed 20 Jul 2015

Our family trip to Mexico Beach Florida was awesome. The rental was great, very nicely decorated. The owner was so wonderful to work with. I had a lot of questions and he answered every one in a timely manner. I will defiantly rent the cottage again. We just loved it.

“Mint to stay here!”

We drove down from Atlanta to spend a long weekend at Mexico Beach. This cottage was perfect for our family of 6. The beds were super comfortable for long naps after a full day at the beach. The fully-equipped kitchen and grill meant we could cook indoors. The weather was just right in October and the waters were surprisingly warm. The owners provided every necessity and luxury we could think of. This cottage is the perfect beach getaway - the photos you click here are going to be frame-worthy!

We had a great time. Home was very comfortable. It had plenty of room, all the kitchen supplys we needed, large backyard, grill, and plenty of beach toys. We loved it. Great location...

“Cozy, welcoming, convenient, fenced back yard”

The accommodations were great from the comfortable furniture and mattresses, down the the soft towels. Had a great time and no problems at cottage. Received deposit back after spending a month there. Would go back again!

“Early Spring Stay.”

Very cute cottage. Clean and close to beach. Enjoyed two weeks there. Yard for the dog. Well stocked kitchen and helpful owners. Would rent again when visiting the area.

“Nice little cottage, great beaches.”

We spent 3 weeks in "Mint To Be" in Feb and found it to be more than adequate for two seniors and our two dogs. Some nice beachy decor, well-equipped kitchen, updated bathrooms and earnest efforts by the owners to provide for a pleasant stay made it a good place to wait out the Maine winter. The beaches are superlative, especially the north beach, where dogs are permitted (even off-leash) was one of the nicest we've ever seen, undeveloped and natural, with pure quartz sand, spectacular dunes and clear, cold water. The Air Force jets flying low over the area were a constant, kind of loud and annoying presence at first, but we got used to them. We enjoyed the cool little seafood "hole-in-the-wall", Killer Seafood, and even the big, gaudy Toucans had a surprisingly good grilled "Black Drum" special (ask for Stu). Day trips to the east (Apalachicola, St. George Island, Port St. Joe) and west (Panama City Beach--ugh--and especially Seaside and Grayton Beach) gave us lots to do on the gray, cold days. Mexico Beach is the anti-Panama City Beach, quiet and laid-back. Just what we wanted.

“Comfy Retreat”

“Great place for everyone couples to families!”

My family stayed here for an extended weekend and there was nothing that lacked for in this cozy home. Everything was thought of from cookie sheets to extra seating and all the little extra conveniences in between, super cute decor and SO convenient to have a full size kitchen to use if needed (great for bringing back shrimp to cook or fish to grill). Fabulous location just between Apalachicola and Panama City for shopping, boating and just taking relaxing scenic drives. Our family LOVED it here and we will definitely return asap! Wi-fi reception, cable, blenders etc. everything has been thought of (a lifesaver as it rained several days during our stay). Thanks for everything!

“Our family LOVED our stay in Mexico Beach”

Reviewed 15 Jul 2013

We were thrilled with the adorable cottage and this house everything you could want. We slept late every day in their comfortable beds, and enjoyed the nearby beach and canal. We loved the ease of a non-tourist town and the local food is GREAT. The owners were VERY helpful and we hope to stay again soon!

“Great for both families and friends!”

I must mention that I gave a 4 on the matter of principle; there can always be improvement. This place is super cute and cozy and while we were a group of girls, it is in no way so feminine guys wouldn't like it. Well stocked with all needed appliances for cooking, comfortable beds, a direct shot to the beach etc. The internet is strong and there is good cell reception. I had to work remote one day and had no problems streaming an online meeting, sending emails and making all necessary calls. Fans and AC are also all effective and it's easy to get the place to whatever temp you like. Stay here!!!
