After an 8 hour trip from Seattle we showed up at this "private cabin". The owners have cut off the other half of this duplex in the pictures. This is where the rest of there family lives. Two doors from there unit open right into the loft bedroom, hardly private or secure. This place is filthy when we arrived we found open beer bottles and scuz in the coffee maker and dishwasher. There was no way we could stay here. So we left. After paying $675 for a 3 night stay, Victoria (owner) refused to refund any money, even the $75 cleaning fee. We really feel cheated. But we felt an obligation to let others know. Look elsewhere for a place and enjoy Missoula.

The picture is false advertising...they cut off the other half of the duplex! Where there family lives. Two doors from there duplex open right into your bedroom! They refused to refund are $700 after an 8 hour trip from Seattle to stay there...It was filthy dirty not to mention unsafe and no privacy. 1000 feet of riverfront view is obstructed because of I-90 and the train that runs along it. We don't want anyone else to go through what we went through.

The owners were very accommodating and willing to do whatever they could to make our stay a pleasant one. The cabin was well furnished and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with many staples and the gift basket was a nice touch. I would not want to stay there with 8 people. The location was a bit further out from Missoula than expected, but not really a problem. For the price I expected a microwave, and a usuable washer/dryer and dishwasher. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience.
