This detached cottage is near the village of The Narth, 7 miles from Monmouth and sleeps two people in one bedroom.The Old Cider Mill is a detached cottage near the village of The Narth, 7 miles from Monmouth. The cottage is a fabulous romantic retreat and sleeps two people in one double bedroom which has open access to the stairs. There is also a ground floor shower room and an open plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a gravelled area and furniture. The Old Cider Mill is a lovely pet-friendly cottage with walks from the door and views of the valley.

Amenities: Electric underfloor heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, TV with Freeview, DVD, selection of books, games and DVDs. Electricity and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Gravelled area with furniture. Two well-behaved, small dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 miles. Note: Bedroom has open access to stairs. Note: Adults only. Note. Check in time after 3.30pm, checkout by 10.30am

Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Town: The charming village of Llandogo is set alongside the River Wye in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty between Monmouth and Chepstow. There are some lovely riverside walks on offer including the Wye Valley walk and Offa’s Dyke which give you opportunities to view the stunning scenery. In the village are a shop and pub, a church and a thriving village hall. Monmouth to the north is located at the confluence of 3 rivers – the Wye, the Monnow and the Trothy, it is an excellent base to enjoy river boating, scenic walks and a little shopping too, or to sit and relax on the edge of the river and watch the rowers who regularly race and practise their skills.
