Lachine, which is a beautiful historical neighbourhood in Montreal, was originally an outpost for the early fur traders. First settled in 1668, by the explorer Cavallier de Lasalle, Lachine was named after his obsession to find a western passage to China!! La Maisonnette is only a 5 minute walk to the beautiful Lac St. Louis, the Lachine Marina, the historical Lachine Canal with it's world famous bicycle path which leads to Old Montreal and the Montreal Casino. La Maisonnette offers you a little bit of country living, in your urban adventure !!!
