“Daughters wedding weekend.”

Reviewed 9 Aug 2016

Our family of 12 stayed here for 5 days for my daughters wedding at the Hillside Gardens. We had lots of room and a family gathering on the night before the wedding. The house is spacious and beautiful. The area private and quiet. The host were very accommodating and kind. We only wish they had more pans and such as we cooked all our family meals at the house. We had food also catered from King Soopers. We loved are stay. Thanks for your hospitality.

“Large home, ideal for a family gathering”

Reviewed 22 May 2016

We used this home as a base for eight adults to gather, relax and enjoy Colorado Springs and the nearby sights and sounds. The house met and exceeded our needs. The house is located on a large lot in a pine tree forest. We could see neighbor-hood houses, but heard no neighbor-hood noise. At almost 8,000 sq ft, the house gave us lots of room! Each of the four bedrooms had its own private bath. The sunroom was also equipped with a bed, which we did not need. We used the sunroom as a place to gather, visit and enjoy looking out onto the pine tree forest. Our families "drew straws" to determine bedroom assignments. My wife and I won the competition, and had use of the MBR on the upper floor. It was huge! The best feature was the view of Pikes Peak we had from our balcony! The second level of the house consisted of kitchen, breakfast room, separate dining room, and two living rooms. The bottom level housed one BR with bath, a game room and a media room which was used each evening to watch movies. The back yard had a patio with gas grill. The three-car garage was large enough to hold all four of our cars...tight fit, but it worked! The problems we encountered were very minimal, and the owner took care of them all. I would have rated the house "5-Star rather than "4-Star" if the kitchen & back patio had each been a little larger & the front & back landscaping had been more appealing. That said, it was a large, quiet and very accomodating house for our family vacation! I would recommend this house for families desiring a large, quiet comfortable place to live while enjoying the beautiful sights around Colorado Springs.

Owner's reply: Thank you for taking time to provide your feedback. We hope you come back soon.

A beautiful property that was perfect for our family holiday gathering. It was perfectly situated near shopping, restaurants, etc. yet surrounded by pines and wildlife. A great spot to gather with family and friends!
