Nice roomy " camp". Great to be able to have grandchildren stay over. Kitchen living room & porch were nice. Campfire area was well protected from wind. Beach was not that great and after rain almost non existent. Had trouble with downstairs toilet leaking just from old age & dryer took forever to dry clothes. We cleaned filter. & that helped a little.

The house is large enough to acommodate 8 people, with linens, kitchen ware, etc. Although cables for satillite and telephone were installed neither worked. We were 8 prople with 7 cell phones from 3 diferent providers and none could receive a signal. Besides being very inconvenient, in case of an emergency very poor. It also appeats the house in under renovation. Remotely located.
The cottage is in a remote area on Lake Seymour,in northern Vermont.Unfortunately cell service is very limited in that area.In the service area,we have indicated that there is no television,or land line phone service.Year round residents live close by,for any immediate emergency,if the cell phone fails. The rental is designed as a truly quiet getaway,on the lake front, enjoying nature, and being away from the everyday distractions of our daily lives.
