Description of the Muscat vacation apartment rental
This fantastic two bedroom furnished apartment at the Tilal Al Khuwair complex is ideally located above Muscat's new Grand Mall. Fitted with modern fixtures and fittings, the property offers a lounge, separate kitchen, two bedrooms with two bathrooms, kitchen, two balconies, and a store. The building offers access to both a ladies and gentlemen's outdoor swimming pool, a gym (all under construction), shops, cinema and restaurants to name just a few. Parking is private and reserved for owners in the basement of the mall. Access will be by lifts and staircases. High quality furniture has been carefully arranged in each room in the apartment, with a fully equipped kitchen, and washer/dryer.

The apartment comes with high speed internet, flat TV, Bluetooth-enabled audio system, enough to keep you entertained for hours. If you fancy a movie at the cinema, an espresso, or a delicious lunch, then you are two minute walk from Muscat Grand Mall, which is in the same complex.

The Kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, dish washer and what not.

No towels are provided. No pets allowed. Smoking is permitted only at the balconies.

Private parking is available with access to taxis (from the mall).

Muscat is the capital city of Oman and an important port in the Arabic peninsula from the oldern days till now. Because it is located in a hilly area, Muscat is actually divided into several areas such as Mutrah, Ruwi, Muscat, Qurum, Al Khuwair, Seeb etc.

Despite modernisation, Muscat remains a traditional city with its beautiful arabic architecture, traditional souqs (markets), mosques, people dressing in traditional costumes etc.

Once in Muscat, you can enjoy rare glimpses of the rich and opulent cultural heritage of Arab land. For tourists that come from all over the world, Muscat holds a special charm with its grand forts, parks and museums. A new landmark is the Royal Opera House in Muscat, now designated as a must to visit place.

The third largest mosque of the World, Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is opened to everyone. The people who belong to other religions can visit the mosque daily between 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. excluding Fridays. Women have to cover their heads, ankles and wrists when visiting the mosque. Those who visit the mosque should not forget to see the second largest manually made Persian carpet of the World as well.
When marketing, visitors should go to Mutrah Souk. The place includes a fish market as well. It is considered as the best marketplace in the Gulf. It has many jewelry shops, handicraft shops, and eating-places.

The beautiful Qasr Al Alam Royal Place is also an important place worthy of visiting. Two forts Mirani and Jelali are situated on either side of the palace and natural water harbour beneath it enhances the beauty of the scene. Visitors are not allowed to enter into the palace but they can photograph it as well as the surrounding areas without obstructions.

The Corinche Area is one of the best places for taking leisure walks. The place is full of affordable food outlets. People who want to know the social history of Oman should visit to Bait az-Zubair Museum. Qurum National Park aks Rose Gardens has a massive waterfall, a beautiful lake as well as an amusement park, which is not-to-miss place during the Muscat Festival.
