Description of the Nantahala vacation cabin rental
Laughing Bear Cabin is located in the beautiful Nantahala area of the mountains of western North Carolina. Hike a portion of the Appalachian trail, fly-fish the upper Nantahala river, raft or kayak the lower Nantahala and then enjoy evenings sitting on the cabin porch or around the outdoor firepit.

The cabin has only 2 rooms with an efficiency kitchen and small complete bath (full-sized refrigerator and washer/drier). All linens and other home necessities are provided, as is coffee for the drip coffee maker. Although the cabin sleeps only 3 or maybe 4 if one is a small child, tent camping can be done on the property (Limit 8 guests, please).

The cabin is open for guests from April 15 to November 1. Guests who bring rv's or boats may be have difficulty driving to the cabin. Ask about off-site parking of large vehicles or trailers.
