Reviews for this vacation home rental in Naples, Maine
Great House in a quiet location
August 16, 2012
This property is tucked away in secluded woodland yet close enough to Naples so as not to be inconvenient. Extremely well equipped and very well appointed, it was a delightful place to spend a week relaxing. Whilst we were a group of adults, it would be equally suited to families with children and teenagers. I would definitely recommend it!
Everything we needed
August 26, 2011
We definitely enjoyed our week here; everything we expected was on hand at the house. The state park pass was a real bonus; Sebago Lake is clean and crystal clear, and the park is well maintained and supervised, and wasn't crowded on any of our visits. The nearby local grocery, which the owner recommended, supplied our needs well. Not really a problem, but I do wish the owner's helpful binder of information for guests had also included a list of the channels that are actually available there. Overall, a delightful week, even for the one-year-old.
August 16, 2011
Several disappointments right from the start. An old boat that looks like it hasn't moved in several years is parked on the front lawn, The outside of the property looks uncared for, the BBQ is a rusted mix of a few BBQ's strapped together. In the summer the 1"x 1"view of the Lake can only be seen if you are standing in the Master Bedroom. There is no phone so if you are from out of the country like we were and your cell phone doesn't work you are out of luck should something happen. Two nights in a row the smoke detectors went off in the middle of the night. "Owner didn't respond to problem" No fire extinguishers. The basement where the pool table is kept was unfinished and so musty and dirty it shouldn't even be mentioned in the description of the house. On the plus side it is a beautiful house and the main floors are nicely decorated. For the money it wasn't all that bad but just don't let the description and photos lead you to believe it will all be perfect. We won't be returning.

Excellent vacation house!!!
July 27, 2010
We went there just before last Christmas for ski. This vacation house is very clean and well decorated. We went to ski in the day and cooking in the evening. Outlet shopping mall is not far away. We had a wonderful time in there and kids enjoy there very much.

Not as advertised
October 11, 2009
This property was not as advertised: Grass not mowed all season - no place for children to play Grill not up to standard working order No high speed internet Beach is over 1/2 mile walk Water view very limited from second story Very lttle cookware - Not a gourmet kitchen Boat in middle of yard Only one working tv - tv's in bedrooms not operational unless you moved the one satelite box from tv to tv Owners hard to reach - had to count on cleaning person who took great care of us Not what we expected nor would we go back or give recommendation
