Beautiful condo -- situation is a bit noisy

March 16, 2011

The only reason this isn't getting 5 stars is that the condo is positioned right next to a fairly busy street. Because the weather wasn't warm enough for A/C, we had the windows open, so the street noise was disturbing. (Also, the "gated community" really isn't, as there's no wall between the condos and the public street.) The place itself is beautiful, amply furnished and equipped, and the kitchen equipment is nearly as good as what I have at home. The decor is a bit fussy (does a bedside lamp really need to be 3 feet tall?), but I gather that's the choice of the resort. The location also is perfect for most Naples activities.

Naples Bay resort

March 23, 2008

We stayed in H-106. The condo was very nice. Premier Properties did a nice job of explaining how to acquire the key after hours and after a stop at Target we were unpacked and poolside. Unfortunately, when we checked in a NBR they were quick to take our resort fees but did not give us pool keys, explain the resort amenieties, or promote or explain where the shops or food was located. At first we could not access the pool because we did not have a pool card but fortunately another resident let us into the pool and eventually we figured things out by ourselves. We had 2 14 year old girls and a 10 year old boy. They all seemed to enjoy the resort which had a variety of pools and hot tubs, and a lazy river. There were many families with many different age groups present in March. The staffing of the pool and spa seemed limited. The Kids Club promoted on the Resort web site has been CLOSED. Families wanting this feature will be disappointed. Condo was great!
