Description of the Nashville vacation cottage rental
The "Cozy Cottage" is now open again to guests after becoming "home" to one of our guests for a long term rental and much has been done to renew it now with painting, landscaping and even upgrading a bath to include laundry facilities. There is sleeping for 4 with beds and then additional sleeping space with the use of the couch and a roll away and two baths, one with a fabulous Jacuzzi and the other with a great shower and laundry facilities. The Cottage is located in the country on 4 acres of land (just a driveway off the country road) and you will feel like you have left the city behind especially with occasional sightings of Tennessee deer in the backyard and yet it is located just 4 miles off I-24 north/northwest of downtown Nashville (13 miles to the heart of downtown and also 13 miles to the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center and the Grand Ole Opry which are both located east of downtown). The cottage has a great room, with wood vaulted ceiling and a wood burning stone fireplace and adjoining dining room, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and all the amenities of home. Just bring your food, clothing and leave your cares and concerns behind and you will to have an absolutely fabulous trip to Nashville. Furnishings, linens, full kitchen, patio, grill, WIFI, cable TV, DVD player, games, and outdoor furniture - you name it and it is already there!! And, if there is something you need that is not there, you just need to call Bev or Jack and they will do their very best to find it for you!! For a $35.00 service fee plus the price of the groceries we can have the kitchen stocked and ready for you when you arrive!

Area Information
Nashville is the home of Country Music USA ... the place where dreams come true. Come stay at the cottage and enjoy all the sites and sounds around, including the songwriter's café Ri'chard's, hopefully the next Blue Bird Café where you not only eat wonderful New Orleans's cuisine, but will hear Ri'chard and other great budding artists sing their hearts out. You can also visit Fontanel where you can tour America's largest log home (former home of Barbara Mandrel), play Frisbee golf, hike their wandering trails or enjoy one of their fabulous outdoor concerts and there is also the Café Fontanella Restaurant (best Italian food anywhere in Nashville) where one can relax and dine while listening to local musicians share their love of music. You can call on Bev or Jack to help you find all the places you want to see, the very best eating spots, and activities or perhaps just to do nothing and view the seasonal foliage ... or whatever will help you to totally relax and enjoy yourselves. Be it a group or just one person, all love their time spent at the Cozy Cottage, just 13 miles north/northwest of heart of downtown Nashville, off I-24, Exit 40, Old Hickory Blvd. (Nine miles on the Interstate and 4 miles on the country roads!)You can be most anywhere from this lovely cozy cottage in just 20 minutes to downtown Nashville and Broadway, Music Row, Union Station, Vanderbilt University, Nashville Titans Stadium, Nashville's Schermerhorn Symphony Center, The Ryman Auditorium, The Country Music Hall of Fame and Studio B, The Parthenon, segway tours and/or historical homes or go to The Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, The Grand Ole Opry and Opry Mills shopping. Nashville is the home of many historical homes and sites such as The Hermitage, Traveler's Rest, Belmont Mansion and Belle Meade Plantation just to name a few along with Civil War homes such as Carnton Plantation and the Carter House and battlefields all within 30 miles and is also known as the "Athens of the South" with many Universities, Colleges and Technical Schools to be explored while visiting . Home Away From Home!!

June 3, 2015

My husband and daughter were in Nashville for 10 days while my daughter underwent a surgical procedure. They could not have found a nicer place to recuperate! Had everything you could ever want or need and was very peaceful , yet close to everything. If we are ever in the area again, we will stay here without hesitation!

Owner's reply:

Thank you Judy for your very kind words and your family were delightful guests also!! We do hope that the next time we can sit and fellowship over a cup of hot tea or coffee and I'll use my very special mug!! We too thank you so much for just everything you did!! As Minnie Pearl would have said, "Y'all come back now hear??" Till next time !!

Excellent Property!!!!!

October 3, 2014

The Cozy Cottage was a wonderful and quiet retreat for my husband and me and our dog Stevie. As musicians and songwriters this was the perfect place for us to stay while performing in Nashville. Our hosts Bev and Jack were warm and friendly and so helpful. The home itself is adorable with everything you need and it was immaculately kept. The kitchen is fully equipped and the furnishings are very sweet and cozy. The property is also beautifully kept and there was plenty of room for Stevie to get his exercise. The area is pasture land and rural and only a quick 15 minute ride into downtown Nashville. Close enough to the hustle and bustle of the city bit far enough away for some relaxation. Beautiful attractions close by like the Fontanel Mansion and the great restaurant there too. I would HIGHLY recommend this property and we will rent it when we return to Nashville again. We rented this property for 10 days and would love to rent it for a longer period next time. Thanks to Bev and Jack for the wonderful memories of our first trip to Nashville. The Perfect Place to Stay

May 3, 2014

This beautiful cottage is a treasure. It is beautifully appointed and space is maximized for every possible convenience! It has everything you could need or want. The owners, Jack and Bev, are kind and generous people who go out of their way to be helpful. I felt valued and cared for as their guest. The cottage setting is rural but access to Nashville is very quick and easy. When I know that I am coming to Nashville, my first call will be to find out if the Cozy Cottage is available. Do yourself a favor and book it immediately when you are coming to Nashville. You will never regret it.

Owner's reply:

Oh, thank you Nancy : ) , for your most kind words, though, it was you who was the perfect guest!!! We do appreciated your stay and are so glad to have you as part of the Cozy Cottage family!!! And, as Minnie Pearl would say, "Y'all come back, now hear??!".

Wonderful country house!

July 10, 2013

Our stay was great! Bev and Jack went out of their way to make sure we had all that we needed. They even provided a high chair and Pack and play for us! The house was very cutely decorated although the knick knacks made childproofing a little hard. However that is to be expected when traveling. I can't say enough how sweet and helpful the owners were. The location was good as well. About 20 minutes to all the main attractions and we always seemed to going the opposite way of traffic. My favorite part was sitting on the swing outside and watching the fireflies.

Owner's reply:

...and we so enjoyed sharing the Cozy Cottage with Erin, Todd and families .... what great young couples and absolutely adorable children .... and the doggie visitors were great too. "Y'all come back now anytime, now hear!??!!" Minnie Pearl would always say!! : ) Best wishes to all of you!!!
