“A Fun Girls Weekend”
We had a wonderful time and the place was great. Debi was great to work with and answered any questions we had very quickly. There were 7 of us and it accommodated very nicely. KItchen was supplied very nicely even down to the spices. Everyone had a great time.
“Quiet, Peaceful, Relaxing and Beautiful”
Comfortable home at a quiet dead end street. Great for taking walks and sight seeing. We saw dear, black squirrels, woodpeckers and hawks. Would love to visit again
We have stayed at this house 3 times now, and each time it was wonderful. The house is clean, organized, comfortable and very cozy. The fireplace is one of the best. The owner is also great to deal with. We will return!
“Great summer getaway”
We loved this place. It had something for everyone. Our son-in-law brought up his boat so the private pier just a few steps off the beach was perfect. The kids were able to wakeboard and they caught enough bluegill for a great meal. Of course, the beach was nice too-great sand with both volleyball and picnic areas. My daughter used her new paddleboard on the lake and the grandkids and I took the most interesting kayak trip ever. The house was clean, well equipped, nicely decorated and comfortable. Accepting pets was a great plus for us since my daughter's dogs are so attached to her, she could never leave them behind. They just get too stressed. The horseshoes were well used by all but I'll bet no one can beat my feat, as I managed somehow to get a horseshoe stuck in a tree. (Don't worry Debi, the kids had fun getting it back down so it's in the bucket once again.) Great management as Debi sent us lots of information about things to do in the area. That really came in handy since unfortunately it was cloudy and cool for most of our stay.
Four couples for a weekend golf outing. Perfect! Bonfire pit, lake, awesome golf. Great kitchen and screen porch for visiting and relaxing. Plenty of places for everyone to sleep.
I surprises my girlfriend with a romantic birtday getaway. This home and the property are absolutely beautiful. The home is well equipped and has everything you could need or want. We are total foodies so we fell in love with the kitchen! We will be back every year!
“Nice, cozy place for family time.”
Our family had a great time at this log house. Everything was done perfectly to feel comfy, cozy and to enjoy the vacation. We highly recommend this property for families who wants to escape from busy , stressed life .
Much anxiety before arriving at the beach house, once we got inside the house, it was like walking into one of the most warm and cozy atmosphers, we were so excited and i was glad the pictures from the internet were exact, especially since reading reviews on other properties guest stated the house was not as pictured, the Schmidt's thought of every detail, it was a great weekend, the. Only thing needed was different mattresses in thelloft area, i slept in the bed by the window the mattress slid off the bed with me on it, (we got a laugh out of that) but it felt like I was sinking in the middle of the mattress, all in all my guest have not stopped talking about the screened in porch, and our walk to the beach,
“Great place for family trip”
House is exactly as advertised - great spot for a weekend trip with the kids and grandparents. Weather did not cooperate too well when we were there but plenty of space to spread out on those rainy days. If you are a golfer, the lake arrowhead courses are a lot of fun
“Mother/Daughter (4 generations) Weekend”
This is the second year in a row that we have stayed at this beautiful house for our annual Mother/Daughter weekend. We had an awesome time both years. The house is perfect for our group. The beds are comfortable. There are 3 bedrooms on the main floor which is perfect for those who have trouble with stairs and then a loft area where the cousins sleep. The early risers can comfortably visit in the basement so the others can sleep late! We enjoyed being able to visit/eat in the sunroom in the evening for a change of scenery, walking down to the beach to enjoy the view, sitting in a large circle under the trees to relax/visit, and visiting for hours in the living room. The living room/dining area is perfect for allowing us all to be in the same area while we work on different projects (reading, scrapbooking, playing games, etc.). The extra long table and counters are perfect for projects and allowing us all to eat at the same time.
