We really enjoyed your home. Plenty of beds, plenty of sofas for lounging. Really enjoyed the docks and the pool even though it was across the street. I would recommend adding some kitchen towels and sharp knives. You need some kind of ventillation for the room with the hot tub, the fumes were off putting.
Owner's reply: Sorry, we shocked the hot tub causing the fumes. We rarely have to do this...
“Great place, we loved it !”
We loved the overall neighborhood experience, (thought we were in the Hamptons) actually we were in Seguin, Texas. The place was clean, neat, great kitchen, clean huge refrigerator, clean bedding, clean towels. 20 women in their 60s loved the elevator. This is going to be our vacation home of choice. We did not like the lower level, strong chemical smell from hot tub and shower had smelly drainage problem. No one wanted to stay on the first level out of 3 levels to the home. We loved it anyway and all want to return for our next visit. Great views of lake, close to San Marcos Outlet Mall, Gruene, and New Braunfels antique shopping. We really loved it. Also had a fun luau on the wrap around veranda with views of the boats going by. The neighbors were also great with beautiful properties.
“Great Site for Family Getaway”
Really enjoyed the stay - family talking about going back next summer. Lake Placid provided a fun fishing opportunity and the swimming pool rounded out water sport activities. House facility was clean and very accommodating for our group of 8 adults and 2 children. The boat slips and fishing dock provided perfect habitat for our kayaks, canoes & river boat. Everyone had a relaxing stay that was enjoyed by all. The elevator was a godsend for the elders of our group. The only downside was the downstairs area: The jacuzzi was not utilized due to a harsh chemical smell, the pool table had no sticks (we purchased one & left for other folks) and the big shower seemed to have a vent/trap problem that emulated from the drain until water was run. But, we all slept in the upper rooms and stayed outdoors most of the time anyway. We were wanting to set up our horseshoe and volleyball games outside but we didn't want to damage the nice lawn area with horseshoe pits (hint - perhaps a location on site could be dedicated for horseshoe play) and the bountiful trees don't really allow enough room for volleyball/badminton play (not a bad trade-off). Overall, we would recommend this site to all and we will probably schedule a return visit next summer. God bless and have a good one!
We stayed here Easter weekend. It was a big hit for our family of 12. The fishing and pool were our favorites. A little concerned about A/C not working on the second floor, but it wasn't too uncomfortable. There was plenty of space for the kids (ages 2 through 9) to run around and plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Would stay again.
“Large family reunion.”
We used this home as a base for our family reunion (26 people). We were pleased with the home and the suroundings. We enjoyed the large area. We had concerns with all the stairs and the toddlers in the family. We set up safety procedures that made them ok. We really enjoyed our time. We wish we had the pool but the hot tub was nice.

Our stay was a surprise gift for my husband's 46th birthday! We had a wonderful time at your place! All the furnishings, linens, and kitchen accessories were of excellent quality. We can not wait to return.
We came here for our 20th wedding anniversary and to get away from it all. The place is absolutely gorgeous. It was well stocked, comfortable and relaxing. Thanks for sharing it with us.
This home is definitely upscale and one of the finest I have seen. It was clean, well furnished and very comfortable.
It was, by far, the nicest, most well-thought-out house we have ever rented and I can't say enough about the breathtaking views.
