This home has the complete package with 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths. It is open and spacious with plenty of room for gathering in the house, on the large screen porch, or outside on the patio that has a natural gas grill and table for 8. It offers nice privacy within the small Summer School Cottage development that offers a pool, playground and paddleball court. It is a couple of blocks from the grocery, shops, and popular coffeehouse. It is under a mile to the lake, so you can walk, bike, or use the parking pass that comes with the house.
There are 3 large bedrooms with 3 queen, 1 full size beds upstairs. The fourth bedroom on the first floor is used as a family/TV room but has a queen pull out. An additional standard height self-inflatable bed is also available and very comfortable. There is one full bath on each floor plus a large enclosed outdoor shower. The laundry is on the first floor.
The kitchen is fully equipped and open to the living and dining rooms. There is cable TV, and WIFI is password accessible. There are some beach chairs. All in all, it is a comfortable home that will not disappoint.

Area Information
Harbor Country encompasses 8 unique towns in the Southwest corner of Michigan. 7 are along the shoreline and include New Buffalo,Grand Beach, Michiana,Union Pier, Lakeside, Harbert, and Sawyer. The eighth, Three Oaks, is 6 miles to the east and the home of two of the areas cultural icons- the Acorn Theater presenting live music and drama, and the historic Vickers, a haven for movie buffs. It also hosts the area's own distillery and long honored food emporiums. Wineries abound in Harbor Country, and breweries have more recently found it a place to thrive. There is a restaurant for every taste- from the bustling tried and true to quaint cafes, from basic fare to farm to fork offerings. Weekends bring farmers markets- large and diverse, and organic only. The Red Arrow Highway is a great road for wandering sporting antique shops, superior hand carved furniture centers, galleries, garden nurseries and gift shops. And , if you can't walk or bike there, almost everything is accessible in a 5-15 minute drive. Bikes and Kayaks, and even sand boards can be easily rented. Want to fish? Get a day license in town, stand by the Galien River, the harbor channel, or enlist a Charter. Golfers will find several choices to try. This is a place that you can do as much or as little as you want. If a Casino strikes your fancy, it's hidden in a great woods nearby, or if you prefer the solitude of reading on the screened porch, or walking miles of sandy beach, it's yours for the taking.
