Stress free vacation !

If want to get away from it all this is the place. We relaxed ,we kayaked, we fished! The house is amazing and very spacious! The huge deck facing the lake is a great place to hang out! The area is beautiful .We even saw a bald eagle right outside the front door! Well worth the price! A great place to recharge your batteries ! Houlton and shopping is only 10 miles away! There is even a restaurant. Just as you come off the Smyrna exit that serves all homemade food! We visited there a few times! Scott the owner is very responsive to all communication .The entire process was seamless . Scott even provided an extensive list of information on the house and the area. I would have to say that the kayaking and fishing with my family was special moments we will remember. Oh I almost forgot the kayaks are already there for you to use. The house comes with every thing you would need except your food supplies .i am so glad I found this place online! Thanks again Scott ! The McIntyre's

Family Vacation

July 12, 2011

We rented this house on Lake Cochran for our annual family vacation to Maine to visit my mother's family. The house was wonderful and there was plenty of room for everyone. We had five adults and three children and we never felt crowded. The boys loved the lake and all the wildlife outside. The only issue I really had was the upkeep of the outside of the house. When we got there the weeds/grass was about a foot high all around. Eventually we had paths worn through where we needed to go, but the outside could definitely use some TLC. All in all we were very satisfied and will definitely be looking to rent this house again.
