“Great house and great location”
We rented this house to bring the family to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. The location is great for a trip to New Orleans anytime of the year. You are perfectly situated in the middle of everything this great city has to offer. The house has an open floor plan and plenty of room. The only drawback is the highway behind the house can be noisy. It was Mardi Gras after all so the police sirens were a little more prevalent than usual. We live close to a major road so I can tune out regular traffic noise. I would definitely recommend this house if you are planning a trip to the area. Great location, secure parking, good food and drink close by and a beautiful home.
“Loved this place!”
Everyone in our group loved this house! The location is great especially if you're exploring all parts of New Orleans because it is pretty centrally located. The inside was beautiful and we loved all the sitting areas outside. Craig was easy to communicate with during our booking and stay. I'd definitely stay here again. Thank you for having us.!
“spring break in New Orleans”
Loved Craig, as he was able to answer all our questions. Michelle was awesome!!!! She lives next door, and caters. She made yummy breakfast for us (sausage/bacon/egg platter, with fresh fruit and homemade biscuits), and also did grocery shopping. She was there to help with anything we needed! We rented this 4 bedroom house in the Garden District for Spring Break. We actually had 10 people stay here, and it worked perfectly. The house was clean, and simply decorated. Nice big kitchen, with seating for everyone! Bonus to have a washer/dryer. Great location, as we were able to easily park 2 cars, and drove to the majority of sights. Nice walk to Garden district, Lafayette Cemetery, and St. Charles street. Will definitely come again!!!
The house is conveniently located 2 blocks from St Charles and the Trolley. The St Charles trolley directly takes you to Canal/ Bourbon corner. The house was clean, updated and equipped with all your needs. Roomy and comfortable ,7 of us stayed there for a convention. We were all very pleased. It was very easy to book and had absolutely no trouble in the process. Would definitely stay there again.
I booked this house for a girls' weekend in Nola. The whole experience was so amazing!! The house was GORGEOUS, clean, and in the perfect location. We walked to Magazine St for brunch and shopping, walked to the street car on St Charles and headed down to the French Quarter, and felt completely safe the whole time. I would recommend this house for anything from a girls' weekend to a family vacation. Excellent weekend!!
Owner's reply: I look forward to your next stay in the Big Easy.
“Fantastic Location and Great Stay!”
This is a wonderful house that is big and quite pleasurable! We mostly went to the French Quarter from here and it is about a $12 cab ride to every where in the Quarter. It is very clean and modern. There were four of us but it can easily hold more, with the inclusion of the carriage house. The back patio is spacious and pretty private. Would recommend to any group wanting a god getaway!
Owner's reply: Thanks for the great review. We look forward to your next visit to the Big Easy. Craig
“Ron's 70th birthday”
I rented the home for a surprise birthday party for my husband's birthday. Eight of our children came along. We had a wonderful time. This was an excellent location. Just 2 blks from the trolley. The house is beautifu, comfortable, and had lots of room for all of us. The backyard patio is very pretty and great for an outdoor BBQ. Craig and everyone associated with the house was so kind and helpful. Could not do enough to help us with anything we needed. I would highly recommend this location.
Owner's reply: We look forward to your return to the Big Easy! Sincerely, Craig
“Birthday party for 11 women”
We rented this place for 11 of us for 4 nites and had a great time! it was very convenient and Michele (next door) took great care of us. We used both the main house and the smaller 2 bedroom townhome directly behind the larger house. Thanks, Craig (owner) and Michele for making this so easy and fun!
Owner's reply: Thanks Carol for the great review. I look forward to your next visit.
“Roof Top 835 Burgundy”
The place we stayed at was clean and was not far from the middle of the French Quarters, close to everything but far enough that when you where ready to wind down you where far enough away to have peace and quite. Only thing that could be improved was it seem to have low water pressure at least at the roof top that we stayed at.
“Wedding event in NOLA”
My Daughter was married in NOLA on 1/4/14 and we stayed at Craig's 2 properties. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations. We had a big gang and the house is spacious and comfortable. The off street parking was secure and each driveway can fit 2 vehicles. On street parking...not an issue plenty of space around the house as its on the corner of fourth st. If your driving the city this section of the Garden district is close to everything and your a block or 2 from St Charles and the Trolly line. DONT worry about the neighborhood, a working class area, well lit and the people are friendly...Typical of LA and NOLA in general. Craig thanks for making this rent easy for me, you helped us carry this destination wedding off with out a hitch.
Owner's reply: Hello Michael, It was a pleasure accommodating your family for the special wedding event of your daughter. Sincerely, Craig
