Area Information
Pasco County's weather is a combination of bright, sunny days tempered by the Gulf's gentle breezes. The average annual temperature is a pleasant 72 degrees. Summer temperatures average 85 degrees; in the winter, we average a cool 67 degrees.

Surrounding area
Pasco County is centrally located on Florida's West Coast, about 30 minutes north of Tampa and 50 miles west of Orlando. There are two commercial airports located only 30 minutes away: Clearwater/St. Petersburg Airport and Tampa International Airport; the county also has the Zephyrhills Municipal Airport and several small privately operated airports that are within an easy drive

The largest city is New Port Richey on the west side of the county. The county seat is in Dade City on the east side. Other incorporated cities are Port Richey, San Antonio, St. Leo and Zephyrhills. Major communities include Land O' Lakes, Wesley Chapel, Hudson and Holiday.

Pasco has several parks with beach access, including Anclote River Park in Holiday; Hudson Beach, located at Robert J. Strickland Memorial Park; and Green Key Beach, located at Robert K. Rees Memorial Park in New Port Richey.

There are more than 30 parks and preserves scattered throughout the county, Pasco has a vast network of hiking and biking trails. Two of the larger trails are the 42-mile Suncoast Trail that spans three counties and the Withlacoochee Trail, the longest "rail trail" in the state at 46 miles.

When you stay with us you will be close to a variety of attractions:
Just across the bridge in Tampa, you will find Busch Gardens, a theme park that many prefer over the Disney parks or Universal Studios. Its atmosphere is very relaxing, and many feel that it offers more variety and greenery than other theme parks.
Downtown St. Petersburg: half an hour drive from the beach communities, here you will findThe St. Pete Pier, a unique recreation and shopping spot, the Salvador Dali Museumand the grand old Vinoy Hotel.
Close to downtown, Tropicana Field is the home of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays baseball team. Many people combine a visit to the ballpark with a visit to downtown.
Want some nightlife? Head over to historic Ybor City, which is the place to go out in the Tampa Bay area. Ybor city is also where the Guavaween festival is held every October. On the way to Ybor City, stop at the University of Tampa with its Russian-Floridian architecture-.
These are just a few examples of what our area has to offer...
