Description of the New Port Richey vacation condo rental
WINTER 2015 - BOOKED. Our calendar is up-to-date.

MINIMUM 3 MONTHS - NO EXCEPTIONS - required by HOA, determined by Pasco County zoning permit. Rental application must be submitted to HOA for approval - must be booked ahead for extensive background checks to be completed.

INQUIRIES FOR LESS THAN 90 NIGHTS - 3 FULL MONTHS - WILL BE IGNORED. Please click our link, "New Port Richey Condo," under 'More Information' at bottom of this page for lots of pictures.

Large building - but very private feeling. When the doors are closed the hurricane glass makes the unit nearly sound-proofed. Upscale finishes.

Wonderful view looks over Robert Crown Wilderness Area. Birds, fish, otters, dolphins and manatees; see the Gulf of Mexico, just a 1/4 mile away. Manatees have been spending a lot of time in our bayou! The view is constantly changing. Enjoy watching it all - even close up - with our binoculars and spotting scope. End the day watching a great sunset from our balcony.

35 miles north of Tampa in the southern part of the "Nature Coast." Quiet, upscale neighborhood. New, secure building, beautifully maintained. 150 units, individually owned, mixed ages.

1500 sq. ft., SMOKE-FREE, PET-FREE, including the balcony.

We've furnished our condo to be a serene, comfortable home for us. This is not a normal rental condo. It's a beautiful home with new furnishings, tastefully decorated, completely equipped. We look for renters who will treat our home gently and keep it immaculately clean, as we do.

9th floor penthouse is a wonderful, comfortable home for 2 people, with room for occasional guests. Master has en suite luxury bathroom with tile, glass shower and jetted tub. Second bedroom adjoins a smaller bathroom and den, furnished as an office/sitting room. These rooms are separated from the master by the open living area.

On site: fitness room with saunas, aerobics room, business conference room with wifi and community sharing library, community club room with kitchen, pool table, baby grand piano and 72" TV. Heated pool, hot tub, cabanas and gas grills. Roof top deck for 270 degree sunset views.

Maximum available resident parking - 2 cars.

Included with your rental, our membership access to Gulf Harbors Beach Club, always clean, never crowded, gated with free parking and facilities. Even closer - Green Key Beach at Robert K. Rees Memorial Park, county owned.

Our features and amenities, including the incredible view, fully justify our pricing. While we offer off season pricing, we will NOT CONSIDER discounts for any of the peak winter season - EVER. Please do not request, or expect, a discount for December 15 - May 15.

This neighborhood, this building, proximity to beaches, this unit and this view are as nice as you will find this close to Clearwater. Quieter, less traffic and congestion, better pricing.

Area Information
New Port Richey, early 1900's winter playground for celebrities. The Richey Suncoast Theater and other downtown buildings are from this time. Learn about the riverfront homes of early founders and famous vacationers on a leisurely Miss Daisy Boat Tour. Lots of old Florida can still be seen.

Drive 25 minutes to Honeymoon State Park and Caladesi Island. Great trails, land and water, some of the nicest beaches in the US.

Easy walk - Brew City Grill, Wing House, Publix, Cracker Barrel, Starbucks, Gulf Harbors, Green Key.

SunCruz Casino is 3 miles away. Lots of State and County Parks are nearby. 10 minutes to Tarpon Springs, historic Greek sponge fishing village with fine restaurants, interesting shops, tours and world class golf. Clearwater Beach is 45 minutes away with Daily Sunset Celebrations. Get to Busch Gardens in 45 minutes or Disney in 2 hours.

There's lots to do - and Florida in the winter is a very busy place. We've traveled much of central and south Florida, both gulf and atlantic coasts. We've stayed in some really great places. We purchased our home on the north-central gulf coast because we like the lower coast of living, easier traffic, abundance of birds and marine life, and relaxed friendly atmosphere.

A Great Find !!!

January 11, 2014

This is really a beautiful condo. It has a great layout, allowing a lot of privacy for everyone. Everything is new (I love that) so the kitchen and baths and appliances are all a pleasure to use. The beds are super comfortable. Everything is very high quality. Being on the top floor of a 9 story building is great. The view from the balcony is awesome; I loved sitting there in the morning with a cup of tea, watching the wildlife. Which, coming from New York, was incredible to do in December! The weather is spectacular! Very helpful and responsive maintenance people in the building (which is really well kept and pretty) for deliveries and such. Lots to do in the area. We ate out a lot and there was a good selection of restaurants close by, as well as lovely parks and beaches. Many local, interesting 'tourist' places, too that you could drive to for a day's outing. In fact, downtown New Port Richey itself was quaint and fun, with the area along the river particularly picturesque. We definitely hope and plan to come back and stay here again as we truly enjoyed our stay. We would highly recommend it to anyone.

Owner Supplied Testimonials

Just as pictured. Sometimes listings are a disappointment when you see them in actuality. This condo is everything - and more - than advertised. Our plans have changed, but we thank you and wish we could rent from such nice people. (from a prospective renter)

Elegant. I've seen the pictures, but they don't do justice to this condo. (from a guest)

We've been to Florida many times, but never watched a sunset. Now we'll miss seeing Florida sunsets each night until we can return. Staying here "we've had the time of our lives." (from a renter)

Manatee have been in our bay almost everyday! Quite amazing creatures! People have been extremely friendly, we are enjoying our walks in the morning and the sunsets at night. (from a renter)

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What makes your vacation rental special?
A: The view. The soothing atmosphere. The building has the feel of a luxury hotel. The condo is quiet. The view is so engaging, we watch very little TV. We might go to one of the beaches, or to Key Vista Nature Park for a gentle waterfront hike, then go back home and sit on the balcony. It's a full day for us. You might want more activity. There is plenty to do within an easy drive. Tampa, St. Pete and Clearwater are all nearby. The big theme parks of Orlando are 2 hours away. But there are lots of smaller amusements closer. Check out Weeki Wachee Springs, Old McMickys Farm and Big Cat Rescue. Best of all - walking into the condo, out to the balcony - the view. It forces you to sit, unwind, enjoy - relax!
Q: What's the coolest nearby activity?
A: Renting a pontoon boat and heading west to the sandbar that's been growing north of Anclote Key. It's very popular with local boaters. No facilities - bring your own shade, food and water. Warm water, quartz crystal sand and shells. Go on a weekday and you'll never have a beach experience that feels more private.
If you aren't a do-it-yourselfer, Atlantis V, a non-profit sailing foundation is 7 miles away in Tarpon Springs. Their wonderful crew offers a variety of cruises to the public, including fishing adventures.
Q: What do we need to bring?
A: Your clothing, cosmetics and personal items. We try to keep traveling simple for guests - and ourselves. Everything is in place to start enjoying your stay immediately: plenty of linens, towels, toilet paper, basic toiletries, kitchen and cleaning supplies. Other than some spices, coffee and tea, we don't leave many food items. Publix Supermarket is wonderful - and less than 2 miles away.
