Nice place to stay.

I was glad that we found the Crow's Nest. My husband and I, along with our son, stayed there for four nights. It was so nice to have a more private place to stay with a kitchen to cook meals as opposed to one of the beachfront motels. If you want big and fancy or new and modern, this place isn't for you. The Crow's Nest is nicely decorated and the beds were quite comfortable. We were able to do a little whale watching off the back deck and it is located within walking distance to the Nye beach shops. It is also conveniently located close to all of the places we like to see, such as the Oregon Coast Aquarium, the bayfront shops and the Yaquina Bay and Yaquina head lighthouses. I do wish that it had direct beach access, but Nye beach is only a few blocks away, so that was where we went to get to the beach.. We will definitely stay at the Crow's Nest again.

Overall a wonderful experience. Great location with all the amenities you need for a fun-family vacation. Only downside was the noise from the pub across the street!

I was doing some price comparisons for a place to stay in Newport and decided on this place. Being that there were no pictures of the outside of the building we really didn't know what to expect. It is located on a low traffic area right on the cliff overlooking the beach. It was a great cozy little place with a small deck and a decent view. It has a little space heater that does alright but they need a better heating system. The sliding glass window was a little dirty due to all the moisture so that took away from the view a bit. All in all a pretty good little place to stay. Just needs a face-lift on the outside and a little more money put into it.
