Description of the Newport vacation cottage rental
Our charming, beautifully restored 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage is located in the historic Camp Benson area on Lake Sebasticook in Newport, ME. Originally built in 1900, it is literally right on top of the water and has some of the most amazing views on the lake!

The first story includes an updated kitchen complete with butcher block island & modern appliances, living room (including pull-out queen sofa bed), gas fireplace and full bath with shower. The kitchen opens up to a spacious wrap around deck that looks out over the lake... our favorite feature of the cottage! Upstairs you'll find a bedroom with one queen bed, one twin bed and window air conditioning unit. Downstairs is the second bedroom and includes a queen bed, gas heating stove, and a floor-to-ceiling sliding glass door that provides even more amazing views of the water.

Alongside the cottage is a small swimming beach area (deeded to this property and our very friendly neighbors). Two kayaks are included for touring around the water as well as a propane grill on the deck.

My wife grew up on Lake Sebasticook and it has always been our dream to own a little piece of this amazing and relaxing community. We look forward to sharing it with you!
