“Excellent Choice”

Reviewed 29 Apr 2016

We stayed here for the entire month of April. What a nice property and the price is more than reasonable. Three full bedrooms plus a pool. This is a good place to stay if you want to be close to everything, but then retreat to a quiet place. The owners are friendly and responsive. We only had two minor problems, one of which really wasn't their issue (connecting a streaming device to their TV and Wi-Fi) and they came right away. The second issue related to the Wi-Fi, which was intermittent, but the owners are considering a new provider. We really enjoyed this property and highly recommend it.

“Just Great”

Reviewed 3 Mar 2016

A great property managed by a personable, young family that lives locally who have been interested and attentive to our needs. 3 bedroom 2 bath, screened lanai and pool, pet friendly with a fenced yard, 5 minutes from I 75, yet far enough off the beaten path to avoid overwhelming traffic. The house is well appointed with kitchen, living and dining separating a master with huge closet and bath at one end and two bedrooms with large closets and full bath between at the other end. House has hard ( tile) finishes which, although a bit noisy, are relatively easy to clean. Washer and dryer are located in a two car garage attached for you stuff. North Port appears to be a well managed community that offers local shopping and services, including weekly farmers' market, as well as more robust commercial activity 10 minutes away on Rt 41. We have easily accessed and been warmly received at local services including Pet boarding services and the North Port Library. Beaches and other venues are available typically within an hour's drive in Venice and Sarasota. Allow for plenty of time when traveling to these areas during this time of year as traffic can be heavy. All in all, a great spot that we will consider again.

“Very quiet, safe neighborhood, comfy home”

Reviewed 26 Mar 2014

We spent December 2013 - February 2014 in this two bedroom, two bath home in North Port. We loved the location as it was close to the interstate and just blocks from the multi-use trail. We could bike to the library, post office, grocery store, church, Lowe's restaurants, just about anyplace that you wanted to go. The landlord lived nearby and stopped by several times during our stay to do yard work and other routine maintenance. He was very courteous and respectful of our privacy. The only downside was that the pool is solar heated and was never warm enough to swim in while we were there. We were told that is true of solar heated pools in that area. The nights are just not warm enough for the pool to maintain heat during the winter. Other than that, the furniture was comfy, the kitchen well supplied and the mattresses were a memory foam that we enjoyed. We would stay here again if we return to the area.
