Description of the North Topsail Beach vacation townhouse rental
This property is not being rented - For some reason vacation home rentals decided to start listing it again.

2 Bedroom, 2.5 bath townhome with everything you need except the surfboard. Wait, we could even arrange that! Located in North Topsail Beach, less than a mile from Surf City.

Townhouse includes 2 Queen beds, 1 futon and 1 cot. Located directly across the street from the beach with beach access steps away. Surf, fish, beach comb, swim or just lay in the sun to your hearts' content and then enjoy the comforts of home with cool air conditioning, cable tv, wireless internet, washer and dryer and a full kitchen.

Dine or relax on the back decks and watch amazing sunsets! Partial beach view from the Master bedroom and sun room. Located close to dining, nightlife (well, what we call nightlife around here) surf shops and tourist traps.

During the off-season there's not a lot going on around here, but that means you have the beach all to yourself at times!

Area Information
Topsail Island is located a half hour to 45 minutes from historic Wilmington (home of Screen Gems studios, UNCW, the Battleship North Carolina, Cape Fear Museum and much more). But there's no need to leave the island either. Topsail beach (20 minutes south on the island) is home to the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center. There's a lot to explore on the island. You can rent a kayak or Stand-up paddleboard and explore the Intra-Coastal Waterway. Surf lessons, SUP lessons, and kiteboarding lessons are all available on the island in the Spring, Summer and Fall. Or grab your rod and reel and head to the pier (or surf-fish right across the street).

During the Summer months, the town of Surf City hosts concerts and family movies in the park by the swingbridge. Playgrounds and parks are close by.

Great place, great hosts.

December 2, 2013

I would love to lie and say it was horrible. That way I can keep it all to myself, and it would be available whenever I want to stay. LOL. However, I won't be selfish. It was a wonderful place and fit our needs perfectly. My son is a Marine at Camp Lejeune and we wanted to celebrate Thanksgiving with him since he couldn't come home. The first place I found, the owner gave to someone else after she said I could rent it. THANK GOD, because I found this rental instead. Jimi (the owner) was very pleasant and he and his wife went out of their way to let me check in the day before Thanksgiving! How awesome are they? I was able to cook a huge Thanksgiving feast for 10 Marines, who couldn't make it home to their families. Thank you so much, Jimi, for giving me the opportunity to stay here with last minute notice. You made this a holiday those Marines won't forget. As far as the townhouse was concerned, it was clean, comfortable, well stocked, roomy, and right across from the beach. Despite the cold weather, those boys loved walking the beach, playing with jellyfish, looking for shells, sand dollars, and sharks.... And they saw them all! Hahaha. We will definitely be back, if they'll have us :)

Owner's reply:

Thanks Denise. Glad you enjoyed it and that the Marines were fed a good Thanksgiving meal. Semper Fi!

Beautiful home!

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time at this beautiful home! It was close to the beach and the whole experience was amazing. I felt like I was at home, and the hosts were super nice and very accommodating. The price was just right also, very affordable! We keep talking about how we can't wait until next year so we can return to our "Home away from Home". Thanks again to the gracious hosts! We really felt very welcome!

Weekend getaway

May 29, 2013

This place was good enough for our weekend trip. Kitchen was scarce on supplies and missing one of the most important things we needed, wine glasses. We did no cooking but if I was there with my family for a week, I would need to cook. Beach was absolutely beautiful!
