My wife and I stayed at the cottage along with another couple to look at properties in the area. We had a long weekend and truly enjoyed the accomodations. Everything was exceptionally clean and fairly new with the cottage itself being the newest in the area. Barb was great to work with and even extended our check-out time which was appreciated. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the neighborhood seemed a little run down. The other houses / cottages in the area could use a little rehab. We did discover two great bars/restaurants within a 5 block radius and those provided some excitement while staying in the area. Overall, I would easily say these are the nicest cottages within a miles distance and we would stay again!

A near perfect stay is a way to describe our trip. We had made the weekend trip so we could do some fishing on the Barbee chain and arrived to have our expectations exceeded. The accommodations were very very nice. The cottage was extremely clean and well kept, perfect for the fisherman, but would also completely accommodate a family. Had a great porch to enjoy the lake view and a small fire pit to enjoy the cool evening. The only minor minor minor detail was the parking would have been a little tricky because we had tailored our own boat. But luckily the was a camp ground a minute away that was extremely safe and very inexpensive to store our trailer for the weekend. Overall a great place and will definitely be a repeat customer.
