We had a wonderful time and the house is very well kept. The neighbors were friendly and the dogs loved it! Extremely pet friendly location. We went to swallow falls which was a nice scenic hike. We planned on renting a boat but had to change plans due to rain. We went to a pizza and pub place nearby. Pizza was Excellent. Had a great time and will return to the red run cabin again!!

Cozy Cabin at DCL

Red Run is a cozy cabin at Deep Creek. Lake access was super easy and parking is plentiful. We found the inside of the house to be well appointed, charming, and very well kept. There is ample closet space for all of the kids stuff they want to bring with them. Our family found the basement to be a lot of fun with the foosball and bumper pool. The best feature of this house is it's usable yard. It is level and cleared. Perfect for an outdoor fire or just throwing the ball with the kids. We were there in winter but it looks to be very well shaded too.

Perfect & Dog Friendly

Left on Nov 10, 2015 for a stay in Sep 2015
We stayed here mid-September and loved it! There was plenty of space, the rooms were clean, you were close to attractions, and everything you would have needed was provided. We were very pleased to find a dog friendly place to rent that was this close to the water and so affordable. You need to walk through a small parking lot and you are on the water. The water is also shallow enough for the dogs to play in and the yard was spacious enough for them to safely run around. We went to some state parks, enjoyed some of the local bars and restaurants, and unwound at the cabins fire pit for a perfect weekend. As a bonus, the cabin provides some great nostalgic movies and games that we really enjoyed! The only thing missing form out trip was a working hot tub, but that did not really seem to effect our fun :)
