Jockey beach 307

August 22, 2013

I didn't stay at 120- it was already rented. We stayed at jockey beach 307 and it was horrendous!! It was extremely dirty. There was mold around the bedroom window and my husband has asthma and had to use his inhaler twice. There were visible dust balls on the walls and vents. The cabinets in the kitchen were sticky with food and grease and dirt were packed on the handles. the cabinets were dirty on the inside too. a drink was spilled on the wall on the way up the stairs and never cleaned. The bathroom smelled like urine. The freezer was disgusting and I had to clean it with Clorox wipes. The frig was rusty. The light going up the stairs was out which was dangerous. There were holes in the screen so we couldn't get fresh air without the bugs coming in. The kitchen pans were not usable! The coating was peeling off and the utensils were gross! The door on the washer room was broken and we were afraid it was gong to fall on some one. The beds were dirty so much that so that I was afraid to put my sheets on them. I went and bought Lysol to spray on the beds. The can opener was broken. We did not cook in our unit at all! One of the pictures on the website was not even of our unit which was misrepresentative. We liked the realtor but were very very disappointed in the property. The worst place I have ever stayed! We go to the beach 4 times a year and would really like the opportunity to win this prize to make up for a terrible experience. The mirrors were all hung too high. we are not a tall family 5'2 to 5' 9, but not one of us could see in any of the mirrors to get ready. There were no ice trays or ice bin. There were rips in the bar chairs and it snagged my new dress. the blinds in the bedroom were so so dirty! the vent in the dryer had not been cleaned out in god knows when so when i took it out tons of sand dropped into the dryer and i had to clean that out too. Our trip was to celebrate my 50th birthday! There were a few good things. The carpet was clean. The oven was clean. The pool is really nice and the life guard joe was very attentive and friendly. The air conditioner worked well. Please pick us to win! This is NOT an exaggeration. We actually had to live n these conditions or a whole week. Thank goodness my girlfriend was staying own stairs so e had somewhere to hang out. I have stayed in jockey beach before and knew they were old but ALWAYS clean. Very very disappointed. Thank you, Sally

wonderful cute peaceful place

July 30, 2013

If you looking for a cute quiet getaway for a small family, this is the place for you. we had everything we needed in the unit to make our stay comfortable. there were grocery stores and restaurants, for when you didn't feel like cooking, in walking distance. We had a short walk to the beach and also to a pier to watch the sunset over the bay. I would definately recommend checking this place out.

Owner's reply:

Thank you Lori, I enjoyed meeting you.
