Description of the Oceanside vacation condo rental
Ocean view vacation rental condo and beach front complex in Oceanside, California; "Pelican Place" is unit C304 at North Coast Village. This 2 bedroom / 2 bath luxury vacation rental awaits you, just bring your sunscreen, swimsuit and food and your are ready!

C304 is located on the top two floors of the C building facing south/southwest towards the beach. We are accessible by elevators close to our assigned underground and gated parking in the same building. To get to the master bedroom suite and roof top giant private ocean view patio, you do need to climb the stairs as this is a "loft" layout called a penthouse by local North Coast Village residents.

Our beach home away from home can sleep up to 6 people in a variety of arrangements. The master upstairs has a comfortable king bed with luxury linens, and the main bedroom is on the main floor and is set up with two twin beds. These twins are set up to be easily converted to a king and we supply a special "twin doubler" and king linens to do this if there happen to be two couple in your group. In the family room you'll find a new queen sleeper sofa or if you prefer, you can auto inflate a our queen aero-bed (we prefer this option). For the littlest in your party we also supply a portable pack-n-play style crib, but remember we have a strict 6 person occupancy limit thanks to the North Coast Village HOA policies that keep the resort-like complex of 550 privately owned condos so nice!

Fully upgraded electronics including High Definition Plasma TV with surround sound, unlimited domestic calls, and high speed wireless internet access compliment the stylish, and new furnishings, lighting, paint, and carpet. Relax at Oceanside's only complex on the sand. Take a dip in the ocean or one of the heated pools or spas. Kayak in the harbor. Take a sunset walk on the pier. Practice your short golf game at our newly resurfaced putting green.

For the cook, we provide a very well appointed kitchen with all the modern appliances (including dishwasher, microwave, blender and even a crock pot so you can go play all day and come home to a money saving dinner). Our counters are Corian and there is even a breakfast bar. Our designer sea grass and glass dining table seat 6 people - so no having to crowd together to eat. We supply starter supplies of coffee, creamer, sugar, oil, spices, even plenty of TP and paper towels, and foil. Nothing is overlooked. Just fix a drink or cup of coffee and head right out to the ocean view balcony or breathtaking ocean view roof top patio. Barbecues are located near the pool, right next to the picnic tables and they are always clean!

If walking on the beach, boogie boarding, surfing, and kayaking aren't enough for you (we provide the boogie boards and beach towels), you might even spend some time in the on site fitness rooms or sauna. There are even a couple of our bikes you can use on the 12 mile riverfront bike path that goes all the way to the Historic Mission San Luis Rey.

North Coast Village is like going to Hawaii without the long and costly plane flight. It's a hidden jewel tucked just south of the Oceanside small craft harbor and the jetty at the San Luis Rey River, and north of the Oceanside Pier. North Coast Village is at the "quiet" side of the gorgeous Oceanside beaches, but yet in the middle of everything. It's a favorite of retirees, Marines, couples, and business people in the "winter" and of desert families and all sorts of vacationers in the summer. More and more Southern California locals are discovering North Coast Village and are choosing to stay here to celebrate weddings, graduations, host out of town guests, and have family reunions.

North Coast Village boasts two heated pools and spas, a koi pond with a feeding station, 24/7/365 security patrol, gated assigned underground parking, tropical grounds, a newly surfaced putting green, fitness rooms, game room with foosball and pool tables, newly remodeled common rooms with big screen TV, and a party room available for rent with some condo stays.

At one time it seemed that everyone who came to Oceanside came for just the beach, Camp Pendleton, or to visit nearby San Diego or Disneyland to the north, but Oceanside is growing up and hosts many attractions for the vacationer within the city including: Oceanside Art Museum, Museum of Surf, San Luis Rey Mission, Sunshine Theater, Water Craft Rentals, Sailing Excursions, On the Water Murder Mysteries, Festivals, Sunset and Weekly Farmers Market, Antique Shops, New Restaurants, Fishing on the Pier, Deep Sea Fishing, Whale and Marine Mammal Cruises, and of course: the gorgeous flat sandy beach!

Oceanside is a hub to public transit and hosts a great station for Amtrak, Metrolink, and commuter rail just 1 mile away.
Convenient to all San Diego attractions including Lego Land, Sea World, San Diego Zoo & Wild Animal Park, and museums.
