The pub, the restaurant and the coffee shop are all in the town center and provide a great view of the Arch Cape rocks- a National wildlife preservation site for colonies of tufted puffins and common murres. Steller Sea Lions are seen on and around Arch Cape rocks at the northern edge of the bay. In addition to the Sea Lions, the spouts of Gray whales can be seen from shore as they surface in the area around Arch Cape. The beaches are excellent and there are numerous tide pools. Really enjoyed everything about the home. No surprises, it was just as stated. Would visit again. Have to eat at local resturant, one of the best meals I have ever had.

Amazing view

June 1, 2011

We stayed at this house with another couple for Memorial day weekend and loved it. There is an amazing view out every window. The kitchen was very well equiped and we had everything we needed to cook our meals there. The beds were comfortable and it's a short walk to the beach. The beach itself is beautiful and had much fewer people than other locations. We will be back.

Owner Supplied Testimonials

"We stayed here during August and had a wonderful stay. The ocean is great with wonderful surf, grey whales came visiting the bay and seals were basking on the rocks. Binoculars are recommended. The accommodation is superb, it is like home from home, it provided everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. We can't wait to return!"

"My husband and I just spent an extended weekend at the duplex in Oceanside. The house was clean and the kitchen well stocked. The view of the ocean and beach is spectacular. The neighborhood was quiet and we had privacy. We will definately go here again, it is a great get-a-way."

"This home is lovely.......and very comfortable. It's well equipped with all the necessities and feels like home. I don't know about a family, with children as it was just my husband and I -but they did have children's games and books and there is much to explore with kids around the beach - I guess depends on how old your children are....Oceanside is a very small and quiet town and one that anyone would love to visit and escape the normal city life. Again, don't know your family, ages, etc. - but would recommend it for all."
