Great Location but challenges a plenty
July 29, 2013
The 3rd floor 3 bedroom apartment was located in a great central location 1 hr from boston, 30 minutes from most of the entire cape and a nice calm beach on a bay right across the street and some of the best pizza right next door. When we first got there having to walk up about 30 steps to get to apartment the first flight is very steep and narrow so moving in was not easy. Three of the four beds had sand in the sheets and on the floors which made us question if the bedding had been washed or changed and that made for an uncomfortable first night sleep. The next afternoon I was going to grill burgers and the propane ran out but Paul got me new propane then found out the grill didn't heat up enough to cook the burgers so when I cooked them in the kitchen there is no exhaust so the fried burgers smoked up the apartment at this point my wife being fed up asked if there was a way to get our money back and leave. Also the roof is only 7 feet tall so watch out if you are picking up your kids. The flooring is slanted and has multiple undulations in it. I would not recommend this apartment for a family rental and we wont be going back to it.
Good, but that's it

We were two families (4 adults and 5 kids) who rent this property for a week. At first, we had a hard time to have a signed lease from the owner. A lot of emails have been sent before being able to have a real confirmation of our rental. Sending a payment without having trust in the owner, it is not a good thing. Arriving at 3 South Blvd, it was on third floor without knowing it... With small child, it was not the best. We were not able to let them play outside while preparing dinner for example. And there was no backyard. After 2 hours being there, we realized our feet were so black, it was disgusting. The floor seemed clean but obviously, was not. Paying 200$ for that, it is frustrating. As regards the location of the property, Onset is a calm environment. The beach near the property was always clean, perfect for the kids. We brought our canoe and it was perfect for that too. Not far from the beach and calm water. Finally, we surely will return in Cape Cod but certainly not in this property.

Nice "home base"
July 24, 2012
This unit was a great "home base" for our first trip to the Cape Cod area. Just a little over an hour from Boston and close to Sandwich (Dan'l Webster Inn - wonderful dinner!) and Martha's VIneyard via the Woods Hole ferry. The 3rd floor deck had a peaceful view of Onset Harbor. The beach was friendly and easy to access. The living and kitchen area was quite spacious and met our needs nicely. The bathroom was a bit tight with the W/D unit; however, it was very handy to have! Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Driving to towns on the Cape was easy during the week. Paul, the owner, was available at any time prior and during our stay. Our location provided a great introduction to the Cape area and we are looking forward to a return visit in the future!
Vacation in Onset MA
June 27, 2012
A superb value for a family with children or a couple seeking peace and quiet. The beach is literally across the street and resturants, ice cream palors, and a small grocery store are a 2 minute walk away. The owner is a perfect welcoming host. Bicycles, fishing poles, and kayaks are readily available. The town is safe (police bike and walk about) and townsfolk say "good morning" to strangers. A very clean, proud American town. A large shopping center and the Cape Cod Canal are about 2 miles away.
Really nice location, very reasonably priced!

The property is located in the heart of Onset Village. Kayaks and bikes along with a paddle skiff (sp.?) and beach chairs are all available with your rental. The interior is nicely updated with a huge flat panel T.V. A/C in each room and everything you need in the unit. Don't forget to feed the beta fish once a day! Paul is very friendly and accommodating. Easy walking to a grocery store that's open 7am until 11pm. Breakfast joint (Sunrise Cafe) is right around the corner and is a very friendly place.. There is a Canal Cruise boat at the pier and Kenny's by the sea, for Salt Water Taffy and the best fried food you'll find anywhere. The beach is absolutely beautiful as is the park across the street; and the concerts and festivals at the bandshell across the street is a very nice additional "bonus" attraction. A huge Stop & Shop and Walmart are 5 minutes away as are 100 other stores, shops etc... Stop and Shop is a bit pricey but you can't beat their selection. Go to Lindsey's restaurant on Rte 28 and get the Seafood Bisque. You will be very impressed. Thanks Paul for everything! I highly recommend his "On The Front Row" rental property.

Wellfleet on Cape Cod
September 1, 2010
This house, in a quiet neighborhood in Wellfleet, MA was really great. The house was comfortable and pleasant with a short walk to a beautiful beach on the bay. The location of Wellfleet on the Cape is ideal- close to good restaurants, a market, beaches and bike paths. Bring a wetsuit if you plan on going in the ocean, it's freezing! Enjoy!

The condo was very well done and comfortable. Plenty of room for my family of 6. Everyone had a great time at Onset beach and local surroundings. Close enough to enjoy day trips all over the cape. One day we went down to Race Point which was only one hour and 15 minutes away. Plenty to do. The owner was very nice and let us use his Kayaks on the bay. The kids have never been Kayaking and spent most of the week on the water.
Excellent Location !!

Enjoyed this rental and it's location very much w/ my wife and 2 good friends of ours. It's "just what the doctor ordered"... If you're looking for a place to "chill out", I'd highly recommend this rental... Conveniently located... If you plan accordingly by bringing all your groceries, beverages, etc., you literally would not even need a vehicle during your stay (unless of course, you plan on venturing out). This rental is right in the middle of everything that Onset has to offer... The beach, the park, "The Band Shell" (which offers a variety of free live music - one evening, we happened to catch a classic rock band and on another day, we were fortunate enough to be there for the "1st Annual Onset Jazz Festival", which was excellent!). There's also a breakfast restaurant/bar/evening live entertainment joint across the street, a grocery / liquor store and of course, the famous, Marc Anthony's Pizza Place (very good pizza, steamers, etc. check out their awesome menu online,)... The thing about this particular rental, is you can walk to everything in Onset Village, yet, after a day at the beach, if you just want to chill, you can hang out at the unit's comfortably-sized deck with your beverages and cook up some of your favorite foods on the grill and watch the sun set... As for the unit itself, we found it to be very comfortable, clean, bright and it's been completely updated... Paul, the owner of the unit, was very helpful also. Thanks again ! til next time -Freddie G
