Description of the Oxnard vacation home rental
This 4000 square foot Victorian style home has 100 feet of beach front with panoramic views of the ocean from all three units. There is a wrap around deck fronting the beach with a patio that features a natural gas barbecue and fire pit.

The house is divided into three units that can be rented separately or together. We have 6 bedrooms with 9 private sleeping areas that can accommodate up to 22 people. There are three full kitchens with granite counter tops, seven flat screen TVs with DVD players and Netflix in each unit, five bathrooms (three with jetted tubs), two gas fireplaces, and two electric fireplaces. The A unit is a 1 bedroom that sleeps 4; the B unit is a 2 bedroom that sleeps 10; and the Penthouse(PH) unit is a 3 bedroom that sleeps 8.

The one bedroom unit is on the first floor and has a magnificent view of the beach and ocean from the bedroom, kitchen, and dining area. Reclining leather couches surround the fireplace and large screen TV. The dining table is next to the kitchen island. A queen bed is in the bedroom and a double Murphy bed is in the den area.

The two bedroom is also on the first floor and has a beach and ocean view from the master bedroom which has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a double bunk bed and twin trundle with a roll away twin in the closet. The den has couches around the large screen TV, a queen Murphy bed, a dining table, and a full kitchen.

An oak spiral staircase leads upstairs to the penthouse suite which has panoramic views of the beach and ocean from the living room, dining room, and kitchen. There is a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, informal and formal dining areas, and a large living room with a large screen TV, gas fireplace, and multiple sitting areas. Across from the kitchen is a den with a queen Murphy bed. Between the kitchen and living room, French doors open to the balcony which has seating fronting the ocean and a built in gas barbeque.

The master bedroom suite features a spacious sitting area with a gas fireplace, TV, and a stained glass window. The futon couch flattens into a double bed. One bedroom has a queen bed, and the other has two twin beds and a balcony. A roof deck offers a spectacular 360 degree view of the ocean and mountains.
Area Information
This Mandalay Beach Estate is located in a residential area with ample street parking just minutes from beach parks, shopping areas, and restaurants. A beach park steps from the house has a volleyball court, basketball court, and swings/slides. We are located between Ventura Harbor and Oxnard's Channel Island Harbor 30 minutes south of Santa Barbara and north of Malibu. Nearby is downtown Oxnard and Ventura. All of these areas feature quaint shops and a variety of dining experiences. Boat excusions are available in the harbor and to the Channel Islands National Park for whale watching, sight seeing, and fishing. Other water activities include surfing, kayaking, and scuba diving. The nearby dunes and park make for a wonderful biking and hiking experience. The Camirillo Factory Outlets are only minutes away off of the 101 Freeway.

This is our second stay and we love it! 20 women stayed over the weekend and had an amazing time! The second floor is spacious and the kitchen is the favorite place to hang out! It is a pleasure to do business with the owner. He's great and responds quickly to any and all communication. We will definitely come back again!

Had a wonderful family vacation. Great unit, great location. The big family room and dining room was perfect for getting the entire family together in one location. The kids had a great time at the beach which was never crowded.

A group of 13 of us rented the whole house for a relaxing New Years get away. It was fun and pretty comfortable and a very nice location. Owner is nice. I wouldn't want to rent the B or C units separately if anyone else is upstairs as its not quiet or private, but it worked well for us. Easy to find, next to beach (not on beach), stores close. Great upper deck, non-private patio and lots of living room space in unit A. It's listed as 6 bedrooms, but really it's 5 bedrooms. The other sleeping areas are not private, but rather Murphy beds in the open living room and a breakfast nook off the kitchen in unit A (not even close to sound proof). There is no master bedroom. there is s beautiful masterbath that to bedrooms share in unit A. Also, great amenities avail, but several things broken when we arrived so ask the owner to do a good check before you arrive. We cooked a lot of great meals for 13 people so the kitchen is good. The dining area in main unit is huge and great. Thankfully we brought a lot of our own cooking utensils as the kitchens were only basic, limited cookware and utensils. Overall, good experience and would recommend. Little pricey for winter rates for what you get, though. But bet is awesome in the spring/summer/autumn.
