Beautiful, Clean, Quiet Lodge.

This lodge had everything you could possibly need (except a large frypan, but I don't know if I looked everywhere possible, and made due with a large pot). Even little things were provided like the proper style coffee filters, and miscellaneous cooking spices. We were touring the Mt. Rainier area so much we didn't take advantage of the hot tub, we hiked so much we went right to bed. There is adequate shopping nearby- we went to an AGI in Tatoosh and made a hearty breakfast every day. There was a burn ban when we went. There is a charcoal grill and a nice fire pit available when to use when the burn ban is over. It is extremely quiet, and an occasional elk walking through at dusk, and a relaxing stream at the end of the roadway one minute walk from the lodge.

Stayed here with family. It was easy to find, close to the base of Mt. Rainier and relaxing. Very nice and beautifully laid out getaway.

The house has everything and then some! We had a great time and will be returning. I have already recommended to my friends. Thank you for sharing your home!!
Speaking as a hotel manager, this was fantastic. The cabin was clean and filled with more amenities and supplies than I have ever seen before. The hot tub was spotless and the river was great.
We loved the Mountain Mist Chalet! We have been vacationing in Oregon and Washington for 10 days. This is our favorite place so far. So many nice touches - the house, the hot tub, firepit, comfy beds.
What a wonderful retreat week it has been! The Chalet is just perfect for a get away week. As with Lake Creek the cabin is well stocked, comfortable and quiet.
After staying at Lake Creek Cabin last year, I was excited to return this season to Mountain Mist Chalet, particularly after seeing it under construction in 2010. The beautiful modern design and comfortable living space make it extremely appealing, and as before, Jan thought of everything we could possibly need or want! There is a lovely open space out front just perfect for dining or relaxation. The trees provide a wonderfully natural privacy screen, and the shaved wood chips helped keep things tidy. The campfire area would have been great except there was a burn ban on. I absolutely love the location of this property. It's far enough away from Hwy 12 to provide utter peace and quiet yet close enough to remain convenient to public amenities with easy access to Mt. Rainier. The only problem I have is in trying to decide which cabin to come back to next year! Whether LLC or MMC, you won't be disappointed!
