Outstanding stay

March 21, 2014

The process to rent this house was amazingly easy, the owner extremely friendly, directions and key box codes sent in a timely fashion, the house was easy to find, so very clean inside, and suited our family perfectly. We could not have asked for anything more. We will definitely keep it in mind for another stay!!! Thanks so much!!

Owner's reply:

Thanks so much Teri for staying with us! It is a pleasure to have such thoughtful guests that appreciate all our hard work to provide quality vacation homes and memorable experiences! Please stay with us again soon! Bob and Sybille

New cabin nice touch of home

February 9, 2013

The cabin is not seclude, it is located in a cabin village of sorts nice area with close proximity to white pass, Mt Rainier and Packwood. If your in a downstairs bedroom be prepared to hear all movements from the loft. Access to the day basement is not permitted by renters either which was a little misleading as the sq footage is noted. Everything was clean and kid/infant friendly, the TV has only a few channels recommend bringing board games and DVDs. They desperately need to convert the day basement into a game/bonus room darts, pool, ping pong fuseball etc. there are not ant doors or windows below so it would need a renovation which would make this property much more desirable in thr future.

Thanksgiving in Packwood

November 26, 2012

Beautiful cabin in a nice neighborhood by the Cowlitz River! The kitchen had plenty of room to cook a full Thanksgiving Dinner and accomodate 8 people. We enjoyed our walks to the river where we saw many elk. This was a very enjoyable experience for our whole family.

Owner's reply:

Thanks Ryan...we hope you stay with us again soon!

Comfortable and Convenient!

July 28, 2012

The chalet had everything we could have possibly needed and we were very comfortable there. Everything is very clean and new. The beds were comfortable and there was wi-fi! The owners (and maybe some previous guests?) had left some good maps and hiking guides that we appreicated. What I was most pleased about was the convenient location to both Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helen's. We were able to spend a day at each location.

Owner's reply:

Thanks Lyn for staying with us. It is always our goal to provide clean and quality cabins and we are so glad you enjoyed your stay. Please stay with us again soon!

Great house, but really only 2 bedrooms

July 8, 2011

This is a beautiful house, spacious, modern, great kitchen and common areas, loved the floor to ceiling windows during the day. We used the fire pit, kids played in the small creek nearby. Its a quiet area and a nice view of the valley, though we could not see Rainier. BUT - we had 2 families with 4 adults and 5 kids. The master bedroom is just a loft over the living room so it got lots of light early in the morning, and anyone who woke up early had to be very quiet as the folks in the loft could hear everything. The location is good, 5 mins to Packwood, easy access to the Natl Park. The house is well built, bathrooms spacious, kitchen had everything we needed. If you are going to use the grill, be sure to have lighter fluid. The owners were great, we needed some more wood for the fire pit and they brought some by that afternoon.

Everything was fine! There are some light bulbs inside and outside that are burned out. The caretaker was pleasant.

Beautiful cozy cabin

December 21, 2010

This cabin was by far the best. It was as cozy as my own home and had all the amenities including a coffee grinder. I especially liked the hot tub after a long day of skiing and the herd of elk in the front yard.

River Fun

August 21, 2010

A great house for our family of six (kids 6-13). We loved the hot tub and spent many hours playing in the river. We made use of the equipment provided for horseshoes, badmitton, and tubing. The house is clean and comfortable. Nice big deck with barbecue grill.

Owner Supplied Testimonials

We have stayed in 2 of these Great Northwest Cabins and both are quality homes. Attention to detail, decor and furnishings are exceptional! We are planning to stay in the 3rd one this summer and can't wait. You can't beat the price and you will not be disappointed. Mt Rainier National Park is an outdoor Disneyland.
