Located on a luxury 4.2 acres property with 700 feet of ocean beach front, the widest privately owned beachfront on Maui. Extremely private, the house was built in 1996 and is a true masterpiece.
The Main house comprises of 3 ensuite bedrooms, 1 on the ground floor and 2 on the main floor, an open living and dining area with fully a equipped modern kitchen. There is covered deck that surrounds the house and provides for a additional lounging and dining area. Very private with magnificent views of the volcano and the ocean. Manicured gardens with more than 100 coconut trees and an amazing very old monkey pod. Close to all services and shopping and restaurants. White sandy beach. The Beach is protected by a reef, one km out. So the water is great for swimming in the morning and perfect for windsurfing in the afternoon, when the trade winds pick up.
Kahului Airport is a 5 minutes drive.

Nearby Attractions: Maui has incredible natural diversity ranging from desert to rain forest. Visit the rain forest, the National Parks, the Haleakala Crater or the waterfalls. Enjoy a romantic dinner Hawaiian style or survive the drive to Hana. Go for an Helicopter ride, or try whale watching or scubadiving at the nearby Molokai island.

Rented this Carriage house for 1 week but upon arrival found that it was not suitable for "seniors" due to the steep spiral staircase to the living area on the second floor. Would be a great place for younger water sports enthusiasts and reasonable at the price. (Fortunately, the Beach House that sits right in front of the Carriage House was available so we moved in there and thouroughly enjoyed a very relaxing week on the North Shore of Maui) Grounds of the estate are beautiful and the beach is wonderful. Great for swimmers of all ages and abilities. Very private and peaceful. Such a nice change from the crowed shores on the other side of the Island. Enjoy!
The Carriage house is under renovation and is being completely redone. It will occupy a large space and will have a nice cathedral roof in the living room, new kitchen, bathrooms. I will post pictures when it is ready, probably around November 15.
