“Ocean view condo”

This condo has a wonderful view of the sandy beach and surf. You can see the birds working the shore, dolphins in the surf, and sunsets. Good access to the beach with a boardwalk across the dunes. The shower is a bit of a challenge and the toilet paper was cheap. Still I plan to return since the plus of the beach is why I like it. Be prepared to hear the surf all day and night. Nice little deck when it's not too windy and cute twin beds upstairs.

“Beautiful location”

Reviewed 21 Mar 2015

This is the fourth time we've stayed in this unit, and probably the 30th time we've stayed at Pajaro Dunes. We especially like this unit because its location at the end of the development usually makes the beach pretty quiet, and the view from the balcony is directly onto the beach. The unit is comfortable and well stocked, though it could use a better BBQ. We always bring our own.

“piece of heaven”

This was a much needed break from foggy Sacramento. The weather was beautiful. The condo very comfortable especially the living area. My only real complaint was i was expecting a better BBQ grill. Thought it would be like a larger grill so I didn't even try to use it.

“Gem of a Place!”

My husband and I grew-up in the Bay Area and have stayed at Pajaro Dunes many times over the years. In January we spent a fabulous weekend with our grown children at this unit. The views are exceptionally beautiful - from the living room, the master, and also nice from the upstairs loft bedroom. The unit is well situated in the building as a whole, so the views are more panoramic than in other units. Because the deck is on the top floor, the night time, skyward view is unobstructed and exceptional. Stars, stars, stars! The couches by the window can accommodate 4 very tall people as can the beds. Our grown-up "kids" are well over 6' tall and fit comfortably in the loft beds. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. Hands down one of the most ideal units you could stay in at Pajaro Dunes!

“Great location, romantic, lacking a few details”

Reviewed 3 Nov 2014

This unit is perfectly located, all the way at the end. Spectacular views in either direction. Two nice couches run along the two perpendicular windows...sit back and relax, watch the waves, and see pelicans flying by. The master bedroom has a good view as well, a good sized bed and a very good mattress. TVs are well positioned in the living room and bedroom. Lots of small candles add a nice touch. Great place for romance. The owner was very responsive to email, answering questions quickly. On the not so good side, the bathroom in a word is primitive, most particularly the shower, which is an old plastic form, and not up to current code. There is nothing to hold onto, no place to put anything, and no floor mat was to be found...easy to slip. Getting out of the shower one must be careful, step up and then down to the lower floor. Easy to slip. The soap provided were little cheap packages, the likes of which one might find in a cheap motel. There was no shampoo. The kitchen could do with a make over. We learned (after we arrived) that the dish washer was not working. Further that there were no logs for the is expected to go purchase them at the gate..unusual for a high end place.. This is a great place but needs some TLC and detail management.

“Great place”

The apartment is nicely furnished and equipped but the real selling point here is the location. FANTASTIC! The views and the beach access are incredible. And beautiful. There is not much around it-- the complex is bordered by strawberry fields and the town of Watsonville ( about a 15 minute drive, too far to walk) has little to offer, so while you can get basic supplies there real restaurants and nightlife require a drive to Monterrey, Moss Landing or Santa Cruz (and for some reason traffic in the area was terrible!). But that is the only downside. For a "get away form it all" beach vacation this place is hard to beat.

“girls trip 2014”

We met up with some family at Pajaro. This condo was roomy and perfect for our get away. The dolphins were so playful on Wed and Thurs. They were jumping way out of the water. It was a negative tide, so we found lots of really cool shells and of course, sand dollars. Lots of laughs and some great relaxation. We left the doors open at night to listen to the waves. The one thing that the condo needs is better lighting in the kitchen, but that was a minimal problem that was easy to work around. I would recommend this condo to anyone that loves the ocean. You have beautiful mornings. The ocean is in your view almost anywhere in the condo. The marine life, dolphins, seals, and otters love to play in the surf right off of the beach.

“Great View”

Reviewed 9 Jun 2014

Loved the wonderful view of the ocean. Small unit but with plenty of room for 4 people. Beds in the loft were rather firm. Felt very safe with gated security. Great home base for touring this portion of coast, visiting aquarium and going on whale watching trips. Saw dolphins one day. Would be a great addition to complex if a heated pool was added to compliment the tennis courts. Anna was very easy to work with when making reservations and answering questions.

The view was beautiful and loved how close it was to beach. The price was reasonable and the beach wasn't busy or very crowded. Plenty of room for our family. Just wish the stove was updated.

My family loved our weekend stay at this condo. My son and two daughters loved playing in the sand and surf on the water and feeding the duck in the nearby duck pond, and I could even watch them from the deck of the condo when I needed a break. The closeness of the condo to the beach provided very easy access for our family to the bathroom, hot showers, and refreshments. My husband and I loved falling asleep to the sound of the surf and waking up to the stunning ocean view from the master bedroom. The children slept comfortably in the upstairs loft. The beach-themed pictures and tasteful décor made us feel right at home. The three closeby tennis courts and a basketball court were an extra bonus. We will book this unit again without a doubt!

We had a wonderful place at your condo. Even my husband was impressed and he stays at a lot of different places. I wished we could have stayed longer. The location is truly amazing and the place itself really nice and clean.

Wow, what a great time I had visiting this amazing, nicely decorated beach condo right on the beach with stunning views. Every day was a great experience. I relaxed on the wide, sandy beach watching the surf for hours at a time. Simply beautiful! Good therapy for me. I haven't relaxed this much in years. I also toured nearby artsy Carmel, drove the scenic 17 Mile Drive, and had dinner at Clint Eastwood's Hog's Breath Restaurant. It was so much fun.

HI Anna,

Just wanted to thank you again for the use of the condo. Wow, what a great trip. The weather was beautiful and the sunsets were unbelievable. Hope to talk to you again in the spring for our anniversary.

Thanks again,

Scott and Cindy

We just wanted to take a moment and tell you how much we enjoyed our vacation at your condo. The views were absolutely amazing, and we had the greatest time! We couldn't have asked for a better location, and our kids had a wonderful time as well. Thank you so much. We will most definitely rent it from you again in the near future.

I had been looking for a relaxing condo to enjoy some alone time. Shorebirds 302 was perfect! The views are exquisite! The condo is very clean and has everything you need. I find this unit doing an internet search and it far exceeded all of my expectations. Anna makes renting easy and personal. She is flexible and has made sure her home will feel like your own. I will be back!

Wonderful fit for our family. Modestly furnished and perfectly situated for excellent views and easy beach access. We rented wetsuits for $10/day from Freeline on 41st and played in the ocean 3-4 hours straight each day. Also read a book on the comfortable sofa in front of the wall sized windows and cat napped almost every day. We relished the ability to do laundry and cook rather than living in sand filled clothes and paying for dining out all the time (though Phil's in Moss Landing is AWESOME). The kids enjoyed the Boardwalk one night and all of us enjoyed the beach camp fires and smores at night. Excellent vacation and planning to book again.
