Area Information
This beautiful light apartment used by the nobility of Palermo in its time, is on the first floor of the historical ' Palace Calvello di Melia XVI - XVIII '.The apartment is in Piazza Marina in the historical centre of Palermo where parking is easily found, not that a car is needed as there are many good stylish restaurants and bars very close by. Please research the area using Piazza Marina as a reference and you can see for yourself how lovely the area is. As an English woman living in Palermo i would advise anyone to as an area can turn from good to bad quickly.

There is also a fantastic antiques market at Piazza Marina until 1pm at the weekend.
Also being in the historical centre there are many tourist attractions all in walking distance for example ,Teatro Massimo, the cathedral , Palazzo Steri, Palazzo Abatellis, Foro Italico, Mura delle Cattive, museums, etc., and for shopping Via Roma is a favourite only 5 minutes walk away.
The nearest beach is Mondello which is 20minutes by car and has beautiful white sand and crystal blue water and can also be reached by bus.
