About the area

This lovely Palm Coast condo is located on a quiet, tranquil beach south of Jacksonville on A1A and north of Daytona Beach. There are walking and biking trails surrounding the area and a state park is within walking distance. You can witness magnificant sunrises during early morning strolls down the beach. Located directly across the street is the intercoastal waterway where you can see spectacular sunsets. There is a dock on the intercoastal waterway available to our tenants who may wish to fish or kayak. Palm Coast is known for its championship golf course. There are several in the immediate vicinity: Palm Coast Resort Golf Club, Ocean Hammock Golf Club, and The Grand Club Matanzas Course. The city of Palm Coast is just a few minutes southwest of the condo. It is a small but growing community with its post office, churches, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. Marineland is less than ten minutes away from the condo. It houses several dolphins and children are allowed in the pool to swim with the friendly dolphins. It would be a memorable experience for the entire family. The historic St. Augustine is a major attraction in the area. Many people visit St. Augustine to drink the water in Ponce de Leon's Fountain of Youth. Others want see the oldest wooden school house in the USA. Some visitors just want to sit quietly in St. Augustine's Cathedral Basilica and marvel its long history. There are restaurants, shops, tours, museums for everyone to enjoy this great place.

“A jewel of a find”

Reviewed 10 Feb 2016

This condo is just about perfect. Love your layout, view, decor, Kitchen, beds, wifi, nature setting and just the whole thing. The parking is great and the carts to carry in luggage and/or grocery items are really nice. The weather could be a tad better (The year of El Nino) but there is no better place than this condo to spend your time if you have to stay in. We did have a nice dinner the first night at the Atlantic Grill just a few miles from the condo and have found all the shopping areas we need. Been over the Hammock bridge and found a Walgreens and another Publix about 7 miles from here. Bles is very helpful and pleasant to do business with. Absolutely no complaints here just happiness and peace getting away from the cold Minnesota winter.

Owner's reply: Thank you Sharon. I'm pleased that you are enjoying your stay and that everything is to your satisfaction and expectation!

“Splendid”

This condo is beautifully decorated and maintained and the owner and her sister, who acts as the rental agent, could not be more accommodating. This was our first "retirement adventure" and my husband and I loved the breathtaking views and ease of exploring the eastern coast of FL. This is a very safe, peaceful location. Our month flew by! Will be back!! My absolute favorite activity was watching the sunrise each morning. Breathtaking...and no two alike! The pool is wonderful and people very friendly. Easy access to market for shopping. Beds very, very comfortable as well. Could not ask for more.

“Beautiful and Very Relaxing”

“Very nice condo & location”

We were there for 2.5 months over the winter. We thought is was very nicely appointed & surprised at how well stocked. You only need your toothbrush. The owner is very responsible & responsive. Fabulous view, whale & dolphin spotting is a thrill. When the tide is out, very nice tightly packed beach to walk on or wait for the the tide to come in & climb the intriguing rock formations from the coral. Less then a 1/2 hr to Daytona & St Augustine. Less then an hr to Jax NAS exchange & commissary for active military or retirees. Always something going on to get to meet new friends. The area is so pleasant, we decided to buy a unit in Surf Club. The winter was significantly warmer then NC & we expect the direct ocean breeze should make the summers easier. M&P

Owner Supplied Testimonials

We love the condo - it is quite beautiful and the amenities are excellent. It is a pleasure to be here.

I cant sing the praises enough! Its been a little slice of 'Heaven on Earth' I do believe! We're all INCREDIBLY sad that we're heading into our last week - I cant begin to tell you how hard its going to be to say goodbye to whats quickly become our 'home away from home!' We're unsure what next summer holds, but we are seriously wanting to rent from you again and we're hoping to be able to get away for two months this time!

Sadly, we must leave tomorrow, but I just wanted to let you and your sister know how much we enjoyed the condo. Although the weather was not as warm as we expected, the condo made up for all of our disappointment as it was far more than we expected. It is even more beautiful than represented and the views are even more spectacular. It was more than we could have hoped for. We enjoyed so many places and parks, St. Augustine several times, Marineland ( I did the dolphin excursion and it was fabulous) and so much more.

If our plan was to return to the same place each winter, I would never look for another place again. However, our plan is to see as much as we can and visit as many places as we can now that we are retired.

I want to thank you so much for allowing us to have such a wonderful experience and memories that will last a lifetime. We left a little something with a note for Edwina on the counter. Again, thank you and may God keep you both safe and well always,
love Terrie

We have just completed 2 1/2 months at the condo. Very clean & nicely appointed. The furnishings & all the kitchen apparatus totally meet all our personal needs. All you need to bring is a toothbrush. The property owners are very conscientious & responsive.

But the best was the view, walks on tightly packed sand when the tide was out or intriguing coral rock climbing when the tide was in, seeing migrating whales, flying our kites on the beach, playing tennis & shuffleboard, well organized parties & social activities mostly done through a well established women's club. There's a dinner cruise on the ICW (inter-coastal waterway) just down the road. Lots of planned trips available to area attractions or do it yourself. St Augustine 30 minutes, Jax 55 min (convenient for NAS privileges), Daytona 30 minutes. Suggest, when you arrive, get a discounted pass for Dunn's Palm Coast Bridge for a >50% discount.

And thank's to you & Edwina for making it a pleasant experience & effectively, giving us the opportunity to see what our next life's setting will be.
