Ocean Beach Surf I - Unit #214 Horrible - filthy

March 10, 2015

I would not recommend Unit #214 to anyone. This unit was extremely dirty. We knew the carpet would be 'dirty' but did not realize just how 'filthy' it was. The condo was not clean at all. When I contacted Tavolacci and asked if they would refund my cleaning fee (since I spent hours cleaning it), they refused to refund us. We will not be using them ever again.I would not recommend this unit or agency to anyone.

We loved being on the beach but decided this was not the time to visit as the season was over. There was nothing to do so we spent time in Destin during the day . The condo was nice but needed many improvements. Not sure if we will go back.

Wonderful Getaway

September 29, 2014

This was a perfect getaway for us. The property was just as described and shown on the website. From the start, it was a wonderful experience dealing with Katherine, the property manager. She was quick to respond with any questions or concerns we may have had. In addition checking in and out was very simple because of her thorough instructions prior to our stay. The views from the condo are spectacular and we would definitely recommend this condo to friends and family. You will not be disappointed.

A most relaxing beach vacation!

May 2, 2014

A Beautiful ocean front condo. Very comfortable unit, great sleeping beds. Very Clean!!! Covered patio made for a very relaxing evening. The Units sit back off the beach a bit as most do in the area so being on 3rd floor was nice for the view. There are 2 pools to utilize, both are very quiet and private. Over Easter week only about 6-8 people a day at the pool. It was nice to have a covered area at the pool to enjoy lunch or being in the shade. The beach itself was interesting. The Rocks along the beach offered some history but not great to lay out. There is a very nice beach up the street about 2 or 3 miles. We enjoyed the area a great deal. We found a couple good places to eat in the area and being only 30 minutes to St Augustine was really good to go out at night. It is really a interesting place to visit and enjoy. Lots of History! We had two teenage girls that even enjoyed the walk around town and the shopping. A lot to do in a small historical town.. By the way the condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Would do it again. Great value for the price.

Great Location

May 14, 2013

First the Bad: Storms have removed much of the sand on the beach in front of the condo leaving a very rocky and dangerous beach behind. This may improve. The Good: Surf Club units are great and well kept, the views are great, the dock on the inter coastal waterway has been improved it is now great and offers very good fishing, the pools are very nice. St. Augustine is close by for dinner, the beaches at Matanzas are just a few miles up the road and are the finest Florida has to offer. A Publix is just a few miles to the south. Although you feel you are in a remote location you can get most anything you might want in less than 20 minutes.
