I took my nine year old son to this cabin to visit the telescope at Mt. Palomar. The cabin was spotless and the owner friendly. All supplies were readily to hand for cooking. The bed was comfortable. I would use this place again.
Wonderful cabin to relax in.

My family came to visit from Northern Ca. and had a small dog so I looked for a place that would be nice to stay at in the Palomar Mountains. I was most impressed with the beautiful artfully decorated cabin home with all the comforts of home. We star gazed both nights in the large field next to the cabin and had a wonderful time bar b queing on the deck. It was a very pleasant time for everyone and I look forward to going back again soon!!! It is so nice to feel at home with nice dishes and pots and pans and dish washer. Wonderful bathroom and shower and the old fashion decor is such a kick to see. Its like going back in time. Thank you. Donna McGuire, Bonsall Ca.

We spent the weekend at this wonderful cabin and had an amazing experience! We can't wait to go back! The cabin was perfect, in excellent shape and very nicely equipped. The view from the hot tub on the deck is incredible night and day with great views of the coast, the valley and the mountainside. The cabin is easily accessible and in close proximity to the General Store, Mother's Kitchen, Palomar State Park and the Palomar Observatory/Hale Telescope. A perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life - we highly recommend this cabin as the perfect vacation spot!

This cabin on top of Mount Palomar has a deck with a hot tub and an utterly fantastic view. From inside you can look through picture windows to watch the sun go down, or an endless parade of bright and beautiful birds at the feeder and birdbath that are attached to the deck. The owners have provided all the comforts of home and more including a fireplace full of wood, satellite TV, wi fi, inviting beds and couches and full kitchen with special coffee. What a lovely place for a retreat. I will definitely be back.

Loved this place! Amenities, cleanliness, atmosphere all top rate.
Thank you for a wonderful stay in your lovely home. It was just what we needed! Your home was perfect for us. We all enjoyed the patio, the great sunsets, cool air, and showing the kids what a record player was - Great record collection! We loved Round Up BBQ and the Palomar Observatory-Thanks for the tips. Warm regards, The Swansons
Sitting in the hot tub and watching the sunset was incredible...Reading and playing games by the fire, so relaxing and healing. Thanks for providing all that we needed to decompress. Humor and good karma abound in your cozy cabin. We hate to leave!
We really enjoyed our stay here while attending a family reunion. The hot tub was just what we needed at the end of each day's activities. We enjoyed the Palomar Observatory and the Smith Ranch in Julian. The property manager was great and very helpful! We felt like we could make it our home and it had everything we needed. The night sky is amazing!
We just returned from a wonderful trip to Palomar Views. The cabin was the perfect setting for our Christmas away from home. The view is spectacular, the hot tub is a nice place to star gaze, the fire place is cozy, and the setting is breathtaking. The electric fire places in each of the bedrooms keep you nice and warm, and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with appliances and kitchen gadgetry to prepare any kind of meal. The record collection is great. Diana and Alan are very accomodating and hospitable. We would love to stay again in the future! FYI: Be sure to check out the Observatory, take a walk down to the general store, and perhaps take the long way home and drive past Lake Henshaw
