The express train, called 'RER', line C, is 5 minutes walk (or one subway station away) and takes you to the Eiffel Tower, or to the Chateau of Versailles. Reviews for this vacation apartment rental in Paris, Ile de France, France
Halifax, NS Canada
We stayed 4 nights & were extremely pleased with this apartment. As everyone else has said it has everything you would require. Antoine is very helpful & promptly responds to any problems that may arise. The welcoming bottle of local wine was greatly appreciated on arrival. The location is ideal - 2 minutes walk to the Metro station & an easy walk to the Arc de Triumph & all other popular sites. In the morning I would walk across the road to the Bakery for our freshly baked baguette for breakfast. On Tuesday & Friday there is a local market held 2 hundred metres from the apartment with beautiful fresh Fruit, Vegetables, Meat, Fish & of course clothing, shoes etc. We enjoyed everything about our stay - we walked to most of the major attractions & it was always great to get back to the comfort of the apartment & catch up with the news of the day with English speaking TV programs. Our only regret is we should have stayed longer in Paris. We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to our friends & family.
We stayed in Paris for a 11 wonderful days thanks to Antoine. The apt. is lovely and met all of our needs. We especially enjoyed the vege/fruit/seafood/cheese/meat... market, and the bakery directly across the street. Between walking and the super close-by metro and train, we managed to get everywhere we needed to go. We had friends visit from another country and they asked for a getaway of their own. Antoine is great to work with and gave excellent advise and direction. Thank you again!
The apartment was perfect! It was fun to stay in an area that was not touristy and yet be so close to Champs Elysees and the Arc De Triomphe. Paris hotel rooms and apartments tend to be small by American standards, but this apartment was neat and clean and had everything we needed. The owner was very helpful before the trip in answering questions concerning directions and activities. Instructions for getting into the apartment and using the appliances were thorough. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Paris. It is difficult to find hotels that can accommodate 3 or 4 people for a reasonable price, and this apartment was a perfect solution. If I ever have the opportunity to return to Paris, I would definitely seek out this apartment as my first choice.
I stayed here with my wife and two kids (11 and 9). The apartment is a bit small, but very efficient and sleeps 4. The location is excellent. We were able to walk to the Arch, and subway access is also convenient. There is convenient parking at a nearby underground ramp (half block away) and the neighborhood is nice. The owner of the property is also exceedingly nice, responsive, and easy to deal with. We were pleasantly surprised to see a bottle of wine waiting for us upon our arrival. Price is reasonable, especially in light of the location, amenities (including kitchen), and ability to sleep 4.
The description was accurate regarding the location and the photos accurately reflect the rental's appearance and amenities. A clean and well maintained property situated in an area in which we felt very safe. The owner, although he lives in the U.S. was readily available to answer all our questions. He readily replied to our emails and spoke with him on occasion over the telephone. He gave us the name and telephone numbers of a local friend who lives nearby, we never had to contact him. There are two single pull out beds in the living room, and we found that after a long day walking in Paris, we could pull them out and use them as a "Chaise Lounge" to relax while watching TV. There are two restaurants around the corner which we used and were very satisfied. Opposite the building on the same street is a: Patisserie, a bucher's shop, a drugstore, a grocery store and a fine wine shop. At the top of the street is a Clairins outlet. Since I use only Clarins I was tickled to find them and I learnt much about the product. The metro is about three mins walk. Lots of buses on the street nearby. I have already recommended it to most of my friends and co-workers.
My family had an amazing time in Paris. We loved the apartment including the location and it was easy to access every type of transportation. The market just down the street was amazing! The apartment was in perfect condition and everything was the way it was described online. It was very clean and we loved the WIFI accessibility. The neighborhood was lovely and the bakery across the street had wonderful pastries. I can't wait to go back and would love to stay there again! Thank you for everything.
This is a small flat, but fitted with everything one needs. It is on a beautiful street, easy walking to the subway and rail station. It is surrounded by good shops, and all conveniences. Our host answered our every e-mail quickly and solved our few confusions. The flat was clean, and we had a wonderful time spending ten days here. Highly recommended.
To provide a review (a positive review) could be a double edged sword as this is the place I would normally stay when on business in Paris. For selfish reasons, I should keep this place a secret. However, this is a gem of a place with plenty of value. Excellent location (Neuilly-sur-Seine), great value, clean with all the amenities you need. Very convenient methods of payment. Highly recommended.
My wife and I live in Hawaii and were looking for an affordable vacation in Paris halfway around the world. We definitely found that at Antoine's place. It was very centrally located and very convenient to get around the city from his apartment with taxis very available and the Metro right there. Dining....There was an open air market just down the block and another regular market within 500 feet. With having a kitchen we were able to visit both markets and enjoy half of our meals at his place. We, of course when in Paris ate out at least half the time, but to have the convenience of a refrigerator and proper cooking equipment was really terrific. Our best evening was preparing a shrimp and crab dish on pasta at the apartment. The shrimp and crab was obtained at the open market and the pasta at the regular market. We also got many other items from the open market market for that meal such as fresh basil and olive oil. When we first arrived in Paris and then arrived at the apartment there were numerous places to grab a quick meal within a 5 minute walk. In addition, the place was extremely quiet and clean. Lastly, when coordinating the reservation Antione he was always very quick to respond to any inquiries we had. We will do this again. This was our honeymoon and will be an anniversary spot in the future.
We stayed here with our grown daughter. This was a cozy little place with all the comforts of home. Very clean and neat. We used the kitchen to cook everyday, hung out in the living room and eating area. We were given great direction right to the front door from the airport. Great location to everything with buses, trains, walking and a bakery across the street! Would recommend to anyone we know traveling to Paris.
Our family stayed at this apartment for 3 nights, the location is fantastic. Antoine is a great host, very helpful, informative and very easy to work with. Thank you for the bottle of wine, it was a nice touch. The apartment itself is clean and comfortable.
Although I originally had a roommate, I ended up staying here alone and really enjoyed myself. The neighborhood felt safe and everything I needed was just steps away. I took the metro and RER everywhere (except to and from the airport) around Paris. The apartment is comfortable and quiet. Everything was exactly as described and promised and Antoine, the owner, is great to work with and easy to contact. This was my first time renting an apartment for a short stay, and I will definitely do this again.
The place was perfect for us in a great location, plenty of restaurants and stores of all kinds nearby. A nice walk to the Arch de Triumph and a bit further to the Eiffel Tower. The two pullout beds were perfect for the kids. With young kids we felt safe in the neighborhood at all times. Owner could not have been more accommodating. We will recommend this apartment to others and will return.
Great location close to main metro line. Best Paris bakery located across the street, great for fresh pastries for breakfast or bread for dinner. If you are there on the marketplace days (sun, wed) be sure to visit/shop it. Fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, seafood and much more! The owner Antoine, was great to work with he answers all questions very fast! Would stay again next time we are in Paris!
Returned few weeks ago from a wonderful time and this apartment was just what we hoped! Great location, wonderful neighborhood and affordable. Antoine is very helpful (thank you for the bottle of wine, also) and easy to communicate with. Apartment is cozy, right across the street from a fabulous bakery and chocolatier and butcher right down the street! Lovely town center with a fountain and cafes, and a delicious market three times a week. Metro is close by and only 5 min ride to Paris. Quiet at night to sleep. Did not want to leave! Thank you Antoine.
We found the apt. exactly as stated. Close to everything that mattered:train stations, a bakery right across, a store next door, a farmers market thrice a week, to name a few. Very clean and with all the amenities. We connected with the owner with questions we had and got prompt replies. The G7 app worked great to book a taxi to the airport. Our Paris stay was thoroughly enjoyable and the place we stayed had much to do with it.
I certainly appreciated this lovely apartment with a great location in Paris. The pictures don't quite do it justice. The beds, including the twin hide-a-beds are very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need and a bottle of wine and wine glasses greeted us on the dining room table. The location is a quiet street with every amenity within walking distance. The Metro entrance is just a few blocks away with easy access to the highlights of the city. Having been to Paris many times, would recommend this lovely apartment to anyone and hope to be back again someday. Dealing with the owner, Antoine was a joy, very conscientious and responsive to all questions. Directions to the apartment were perfect. Thanks Antoine!
This is our second time using the flat. And as long as we go to Paris we will continue to do so. Excellent location, if you, like us, prefer not to be with the tourists but rather get to know the customs of the locals. Close to the metro. Close to buses. In fact, we took the buses all the time on this visit one bus goes right into the Luxembourg Park, and one goes right next door to Musee D'Orsay. The metro is excellent too, but we wanted to sightsee without paying the Hop on Hop off fees. Great restaurants in the vicinity. Next door is a grocery store, opposite is a patisserie, a butcher next door, but on the same street there is yet another. Wine store, chocolate stores all on the street as well as a few trendy clothing stores. Family with not more than two children would be accommodated well, as there are two extra single beds. The flat is accessible by elevator, but, if one has to be remained seated at all times in the wheelchair this might not help as the elevator is narrow. The proprietor is very helpful indeed. He is always accessible by phone or email.
We were so delighted with this apartment during our stay in September of this year. It was larger than we had imagined and the location was just perfect. The bakery across the street was great and the little grocery store nearby had all we needed. There was a wine merchant, a butcher and a pharmacy not more than a few steps from the apartment. Dealing with Antoine was so easy. The metro was about 5 minutes away and was on the main line so we could reach all the tourist spots with great ease. Our next stop made us appreciate him even more because he had provided guides for all the appliances and provided books about Paris - the next place we stayed in Aix en Provence had nothing and the owners were not readily available. So thank you Antoine - we will be back to stay again.
Alas, while it is a memory now, we were so pleased with this wonderful apartment in Paris. It was the start of our vacation, followed by 3 nights in London and a Transatlantic Cruise. It was a great location: within a short walk to the Metro, a small market being just a few doors away, a lovely bakery across the street and several restaurants nearby. The apartment was clean and well-maintained. There is an open-air market at the end of the street on Wed., Fri., and Sunday which sells produce and seafood among other things. Antoine, the owner, could not have been more helpful, giving very complete instructions for anything you might need to know, including a local contact who could help with any problems. I would absolutely recommend this property to a friend or relative traveling to Paris and would not hesitate to stay here if I had the opportunity to return to this romantic city!
