Description of the Parrottsville vacation cabin rental
Gregg's Country Cabin lets you experience country living at its fullest. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city but yet close enough to be able to fulfill your needs when you do need to go back. The free standing cabin is a fully furnished 2 bedroom unit located on a 42 acre farm. It has a double bedroom with large adjoining bath and a twin bedroom with another bath/laundry room. There is a nice size living and dining area along with a fully furnished kitchen. Sit on the front porch, relax and enjoy looking at the beautiful mountains in front of you. There is a very nice back porch with mountain views also. Pick apples from the side yard when in season. The owner will probably let you pick fresh produce right from your back porch when the garden is growing! Lots of room for the kids to get out and roam around the pastures. You might not want to go back to the city after staying at Gregg's Country Cabin.

Area Information
From the cabin there are lots of areas to visit. We are 76 miles to the Bristol International Speedway. The Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area is only about 40 miles away and while there you can visit the Great Smoky Mountains. Dollywood and the Ripley's Aquarium are just 2 of the main attracions in this area. Of course, don't forget all the outlet malls that are located there also. Drive into Asheville, NC and other mountain towns located just about 1 hour away. Knoxville, Tn, home of the Tennessee Vols, is about 1 hour away. Located at the base of the Cherokee National Forest the area is beautiful in the fall with the changing leaves. Even in the winter, you will still be able to cozy up in the cabin and enjoy the true country life. And you for sure would enjoy the area in the spring and summer. Go the other way and you can visit the historic Greeneville area. The hosts will be able to guide you to anywhere you might like to go since they are life-long residents of this area.
