Reviews for this vacation home rental in Pasadena, California

Really enjoyed my stay in this bungalow in Pasadena -- despite record humidity, thunder & lightning! Very clean and spacious enough for 2 or more people. The parking situation was a little worrisome, but I got the hang of it. Look forward to staying again in the future!
NEWLY RENOVATED, CHARMING, THOUGHTFULLY APPOINTED! By: DINKS weekend getaway. March 2015
My wife and I wanted to explore old Pasadena and Huntington Gardens, and this perfectly-sized bungalow was in a great part of town for doing just that. Bonnie was extremely responsive to our emails, and made sure our stay was easy, relaxing, and enjoyable. It was immaculately clean, and very up-to-date with a full kitchen (including dining ware and utensils, fridge, stove, coffee maker, etc.) We really like the layout, and the bed and bathroom were especially modern and sooo comfortable. She provided some nice snacks for our arrival, a parking permit, and even helped us get one free ticket into Huntington Gardens! The weather outside was very hot during our stay, so we really appreciated the super-fast and efficient whole-house air conditioning and ceiling fan over the bed...I want to get one of those units for my own house now! There were a few good restaurants within easy walking distance, and a *huge* number of restaurants just a short drive away, closer to old town. We enjoyed an art festival one night, and tried a different healthy vegetarian restaurant for each meal of our stay -- "Real Food Daily", "The Kitchen for Exploring Foods", and "Lemonade" were standouts. I would recommend this bungalow to any of my friends without hesitation, and would definitely go back the next time we're in the area.
VISITING MY CHILDREN IN COLLEGE. By Susan D. January, 2015
The property was lovely and accommodations perfect for me. Situated between two colleges and close to downtown Pasadena. Bonnie is an attentive and efficient host. I'd stay at the bungalow again in the future.
ATTRACTIVE, CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. By Anonymous. February 2015
This very clean and freshly remodeled bungalow is conveniently located for easy access to the Pasadena area. It was great having a full kitchen to save money with several meals right at the bungalow. It was also a real plus having the washer/dryer so we could simplify our packing and wash anything we needed twice. One thing I appreciated was the "no extra person charge". Some places sounded cheaper but once you factored in the extra person cost they were not bargains. My wife and I had our son staying with us part of the time.. so this was very convenient. Our daughter lives in Pasadena and the kitchen, private backyard, and living room gave plenty of space for us to visit and relax. We have recommended the bungalow to others and look forward to staying there again.
WE LOVE THE BUNGALOW! By Gloris Y., February 2015
My husband and I were the first to stay at the Bungalow. We rented it for Thanksgiving. We were so impressed with the decor, the cleanliness, and the owner, Bonnie. She is so gracious and wanted everything to be perfect for us. The bungalow is cozy enough for us 2, but with the fold out table in the kitchen and the lovely patio area in the back, we comfortably hosted 9 for a Thanksgiving feast. As mid-westerners, we enjoyed the novelty of doing our laundry outside. What in the world?! The table and chairs nearby are quite cozy and the massive bougainvillea tree dropped delicate pink petals on the patio bricks creating a lovely sitting area for morning coffee. The bungalow is close to everything we needed or wanted to see in Pasadena. Most of the time we were able to park on the street, or just around the corner. It was always a short walk to the car, which we didn't mind because there were so many roses, flowering bushes and lovely trees in the neighborhood to admire along the way. We look forward to staying at Bonnie's bungalow next time we visit lovely Pasadena. We highly recommend it!
