“Fantastic Weekends in the Woods!”

Reviewed 6 Dec 2016

Very cozy home close to several excellent hiking options. It was so nice to get away from our busy work lives and just relax in the woods! Home was perfect with wood burning stove in the family room and a fire pit in the yard. Owners supplied plenty of pre-cut wood for both. Home was also stocked with everything you could need. All we needed to bring was groceries. Owners were incredibly helpful and even let us walk their farm with our dog. We took advantage of the numerous hiking opportunities close by and are definitely planning a return trip to experience some others. Our stay was exactly what we needed and we can't wait to get away from everything again.

Stayed in this lovely, well-appointed cabin for a much-needed girls' long weekend. The generous hospitality of the owners is amazing, and we loved having the opportunity to explore a bit of their working certified organic farm. This affordable cabin is easy to find and hard to leave. I would heartily recommend these accommodations to any and all. I will definitely return!!!

“Our favorite!”

This is the third year my sisters and I have stayed here, and we have no intention of looking anywhere else. Quiet and serene, homey and comfortable, with beautiful views, and an incredible show of stars at night! It feels like home! Amy and Steve, the owners, are the nicest people, and I can't say enough good things about them! Every time I'm there, I wish I could stay for a month. :)

Amy is very sweet and makes you feel right at home immediately. The cabin is a great size and very clean with almost everything you could need! The covered porch is perfect if it rains and we enjoyed walking the grounds and fishing in the pond. Serpent Mound is close by as well as some other great hiking spots. Highly recommend staying here!

This little peace of heaven sits in Adams Co is so relaxing. You will not be disappointed unless you plan to shop while your spouse is fishing. Not much around but it's great for some family time together.

Steve & Amy Hedrick are delightful custodians of a picture perfect cabin in the woods on their large farm on a hill top overlooking Serpent Mound. This was our second time using their cabin, and it was a nice as the first time. We highly recommend a stay at this warm, clean and well sited cabin.

My husband and I, our eldest daughter, two grandchildren and two boxers had an exceptional stay for two nights. Steve and Amy were most gracious hosts and enjoyed showing us around their gorgeous working farm. You do t get That kind of dark anywhere in the city and it was very cathartic!! We will be going back again soon...guaranteed! Oh, and if you have a hankering for the best steak ever, Ribbers is THE place!
