Description of the Philadelphia vacation townhouse rental
We are offering our 1200 sq. ft. rowhome to families traveling to Philadelphia for the World Meeting of Families and the Papal Visit in late September for $475/night. It can accommodate up to four adults or a family of five (six, if you have a baby.) Please take a moment to read the full description, as we are offering some special services to help you get the most out of your visit.

Our home can be configured to offer up to three bedrooms, and includes a recently remodeled kitchen and a renovated full bathroom on each floor. Laundry, kitchen, dining, and living rooms are all located on the first floor. Sleeping rooms are on the second floor. There is also a deck in the back for enjoying an evening meal or just relaxing. Wireless Internet service is provided, and we'd be happy to setup a Netflix profile for you on our smart TV.

The master bedroom is approximately 12x12 and includes one queen size Select Comfort / SleepNumber bed. There are two large dressers available for storage.

The middle room is an 8x10 nursery for our daughter, perfect if you are traveling with a baby. The room includes a changing table, bassinette, and one large dresser for storage. The room can also be provided with a twin bed, with or without the nursery furniture.

The front 12x10 bedroom has a full size platform bed, one closet, and an office desk/+chair.

If you have a dog, they are welcome to stay. We only ask that you clean up the backyard after them and be respectful to our neighbors if they begin to bark. The Schuylkill River trail is perfect for dog walks, but so is the entire neighborhood.

Area Information
If you have never been to Philadelphia before, it is an amazing city with deep historical significance, top notch culinary offerings, and rich, diverse culture. We highly recommend arriving early or staying a couple additional days to experience some of what Philadelphia has to offer!

SPECIAL OFFERS: If you missed out on the SEPTA "Papal Pass" lottery, we have you covered. We have 8 passes available for the 26th and 27th, and will provide drop off and pickup service at the Chestnut Hill SEPTA train station that will take you to and from downtown during the Pope's visit. Additional transportation services can be made available upon request (ie. Airport pickup or drop-off on arrival and departure dates, grocery store, pharmacy, etc.) As an added bonus, we have family passes to the Philadelphia Zoo, Academy of Natural Sciences and Camden Aquarium, and can extend those benefits to you for a small transportation fee. If you plan to drive in, street parking is free but we can offer lot parking a block away for $50 for your entire stay (compare that to $30 to $50 per night at downtown hotels!). If you need to rent a car after arriving, there is an Enterprise location a block away.
