Our house is located on a safe, quiet block in the heart of center city with plenty of restaurants and shopping. Just 7 blocks from Rittenhouse Square, 3 blocks from Fitler Square, and 7 blocks from the Schuylkill River trail and dog park.
800 square feet light filled private house, central heating and air, private garage parking, pet friendly, outdoor space, exposed brick, slate tile and hardwood floors, stainless appliances, luxury bedroom with king bed and wet room bathroom.
1st floor: Garage parking, front load washer/dryer, storage, hanging bike racks
* Please note, as Rodman street is a small alley, oversized vehicles and SUV's will be extremely difficult to fit in the garage. Sorry.
2nd floor: Open kitchen and living room with hardwood floors, stainless appliances, granite counter tops, fully stocked kitchen, ice maker, queen sleeper sofa, flat screen TV, Apple TV, custom breakfast bar with 4 stools. Patio off the back with table, 4 chairs, teak flooring, and charcoal grill.
3rd floor: Small pocket stairs up to master bedroom with exposed brick and beams, flat screen TV, vaulted ceiling, wood floors, luxury king bed with twin trundle bed, desk, clothes storage, luggage racks, laundry basket, wet room bathroom with slate floor, towel heater, and rain shower (no tub, but infant tub available).
**Please note, the stairs can be challenging for anyone who is taller or has mobility issues and you must go upstairs through the bedroom to get to the bathroom.
***What is a trinity house? Unique to Philadelphia - though perhaps at one time a few may have existed in New York - the trinity house, also known as a bandbox house or Father, Son, and Holy Ghost house, is a small house usually built for the lowest class of servants. The trinity house originally contained one room per floor, hence the name. Typically these houses would contain three floors, a basement kitchen, and a tiny attic. Each floor would contain a fireplace, and be connected by a pocket staircase tucked behind the chimney. The back would contain a cobbled privy.
