Nice enough, but maint issues

June 26, 2013

Very pretty, good directions. Some of the windows don't open and close well. When someone showers upstairs small amounts of water run down the wall to the right of the downstairs shower door. Lid to hot tub is so old and out dated no way one person could put it back on alone. The front door doesnt latch w out deadbolt. The cabin and view were very pretty. Would stay again if other issues were fixed

Angel's Crest cabin

April 9, 2013

The cabin was beautifully decorated and everything we needed was provided. The only downside was the closeness of the cabins, and the loud music from the wedding reception hall below. Despite that, everything else was perfect, and we would stay again.

Tranquility Says It All

April 12, 2012

My husband and I stayed in this wonderful home for a much needed relaxing get away vacation. We were not disappointed. The home is perfectly situated on a lovely mountain lot which provided a wonderful mountain view as well as giving that "tucked in" feeling. The entire home is beautifully decorated with modern decore in relaxing colors. The master bathroom was awsome with a large tub that gave the impression of sitting in a tree house. We especially enjoyed cooking in the well appointed kitchen and making use of the grill. The hot tub was a perfect ending to a day of hiking in the nearby National Park. The owners were particularly attentive and provided helpful hints from where to get specialty groceries to directions to a back entrance to the Park. This home has everything a couple needs for a relaxing get away. We have stayed several times in the same neighborhood and this was by far our favorite home. Thank you for sharing your home away from home. We will definitely be back!

Unforgettable experience

September 6, 2011

We go on a vacation at least twice a year and try to explore new places, somehow could never go to Gatlinburg which is pretty close (6 hours drive). Even this year the plan was finalized a week before and supposedly all the good cabins in Pigeon forge/ Gatlinburg were already booked. I found this property available and it proved to be a blessing in disguise. The drive was smooth and not uphill and the moment we entered this cabin we loved it. It was neat and well decorated and had all the necessary stuff you would need. Based on our past experience we brought utensils, comforters and bed sheets but did not need anything as the beds were clean and cozy and you name any utensil or barware and it was there. The owner and his wife are really nice people who mailed us all the information we required and were readily available if you needed to call them for any reason. The bathrooms were clean and nicely decorated and the master bathroom was almost as big as a normal sized room. It is a gated community so we felt safe as well. On the whole we had a wonderful experience staying here. The stores, restaurants are located within 4-5 miles. I strongly recommend this property if you are looking for a party of 5-6 people.

Tranquility indeed.

July 22, 2011

We just completed a long weekend stay at Tranquility - It was great! Close to everything - close (about 15 min or so) to the smokey mountains park and ten minutes to the local restaurants and attractions. We went horseback riding one day and were surprised at how close the Walden creek stables are, five minutes away if that. The house itself was very clean, and beautiful decorated. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to be close but still semi-secluded. We enjoyed relaxing on the front and back porches equally, swing in the front and a jacuzzi in the back. Lastly the views were great, large windows in the living room allowed us to always see the mountains no matter what we were doing in the house.

We Had Fun!

July 20, 2008

The cabin was beautiful. We enjoyed the large living spaces and bedrooms. The Nintendo game and keyboard were a big hit with the children. We like to cook and missed having bakeware. There was no cookie sheet, no measuring cups/spoons, no 9x13 pan in the kitchen. The other thing we could have used were bathmats in the bathrooms, especially the master. The tile floor in there is very slick, especially with wet feet. A mat in front of the shower would have been helpful. We have stayed in Cedar Falls Resort before and love it out there. We fished, took a horse ride at Walden Creek Stables, and enjoyed Pigeon Forge. It was nice to stay away from the crowds and noise and relax quietly in the evenings. The swing on the deck was very nice. All in all we had a great time. Thank you!

Review #5160209 Beautiful Property

My first thought when we entered this 'cabin' is that the pictures don't even do it justice. This property is just beautiful. It is really a log cabin style home and we thought the price was excellent for the size, location, and seclusion of this cabin. We would certainly recommend it!

This is what John and Donna Martin, (Dallas Tx. Oct. 2011) said about our home: Tranquility was absolutely beautiful! The pictures do not do this place justice. It is better in person. The home is so spacious not like most 2 bedroom 2 level cabins, plenty of space in both bedrooms. The surrondings are breathtaking! I didn't even want to leave the home, I was so relaxed and enjoyed taking in the views of nature. This was well worth the money. It was one of my most memorable stays. I will come again next year.

Loved the cabin. It was perfect for my family and my parents. The cabin was exceptionally clean and furtnished beautifully. Each day we had a visit from a red woodpecker which my daughter loved. Close to Pigeon Forge without hearing any noise. This resort spaced the cabins out so you cannot hear or really see your neighbors. Privacy and quiet is what it offered. It was named Tranquility for the right reason!
