“a dream”

Our family loved this spacious beautiful home. Kids had room to go off and do their thing. Eating area had room for all 11 of us. Enjoyed cooking hot dogs on the fire pit, but also loved the grill set up. Our only disappointment was, we wanted to see some black bear in the wild! Ha Our family would like a return trip as there was so much to do.

“Wonderful Vacation Experience”

Reviewed 30 Jul 2012

We have always gone to the beach for our family vacations. I thought it would be good to try something different by going to the mountains. It took some convincing but finally got everyone to agree. When we entered the house for the first time, all doubt was removed. It was perfect for our family of eleven. Even though the house is advertised as a four bedroom ( which it is), there was more than enough room for everyone. The kitchen was especially impressive with a huge island that could seat eight people plus a table that could seat four more plus a game table that could seat some more, all in the kitchen area. The game room upstairs was spectacular. It kept the adults busy playing PAC Man. We turned the TV on only once the entire time we were there. The evenings were so nice we spent the time outside on one of the two decks reading and talking until bedtime. There were very few bugs. The view was fantastic. There was so much to do in the area. We did a lot of hiking which was good for all of us. Even the three year old climbed to the top of Clingmans Dome. The house was a wonderful place to come back to after a day of playing and sight-seeing. The whole family liked the experience and voted to come back again.

“1 week a year trip.”

We had 4 adults and 4 children and it was very roomy. Large deck on first floor nice size on 2nd floor, pool table, air hockey.and OMG cant forget arcade machine that the kids couldn't get enough of. Bugs at night were very plentiful but during the day hardly any. Lets not forget the view, "WONDERFUL". Would recomend to everyone. Mark Dolle and "CREW".

“mountain escape”

The cabin was beautiful and clean. It had everything we needed, check in was fast and easy. Staff super friendly . We were 3 families, and the cabin was super comfortable lots of room for everyone. The kids really enjoyed having the second. floor to themselves, with the pool table and arcade. Great view from both floors. Very quiet area. Only advice is to make sure you arrive during the day. Very difficult to find the cabins at night very or no lights.

beautiful layout, tons of space. 3 couples and 2 children under 5 had no trouble finding own time/quit time. nice lot with fire pit. views from the 2 decks were awesome. got to watch a summer thunderstorm from covered deck. hot tub was great. close enough to everything, but far enough away from it all at the same time. needs a bigger fridge, but other than that, no complaints!

The house was just as described, even better. My hubby spent some time on fixing the wireless with the provider. Once that was fixed, every thing was perfect.

“Awesome Vacation Home”

I have taken trips to different states for 6 years now and this location was the best ever. I really hated to leave the cabin due to the great views, quiteness, peacefullness, and enjoying the wilderness that comes with the mountains. I will defintely visit this area again.

the view from the back of the cabin was beutiful, lots of chairs to sit and enjoy that view. The cabin was beautiful, big bathrooms and enough table space for our group of 10.I only wish that it either had another frig or a bigger one.parking was ample for 4 cars.Best of all we were only 10 mins from Pegion Forge. This was our first time renting a cabin and it was a wonderful experience for everyone.I am looking foward to coming back next year.
