Winter is a marveleous time in the Smokies. If you like things quieter and easy going, then winter is for you. The mountain vistas are better with the foliage off the trees.
Spring is like a new beginning. All the foliage returns along with the wildflowers, the whitewater streams, exuberant waterfalls, and wildlife emerging from their winter dens-American Black Bears come from hibernation and Whitetail Fawns are born.

Reviews for this vacation cabin rental in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
April 17, 2011
We really enjoyed renting this cabin. It was the perfect size for me, my wife and little poodle. This is in a very pet friendly area. I would recommend this cabin to anyone. It was very clean and neat. We will rent this cabin on our next visit to this area.

Owner(s) need better management skills.

We feel that the owner(s) consciously made themselves unavailable for conversations by phone. The cabin needs some basic maintenance but is in a good location. The name of the cabin is different than what is listed.
Beautiful setting for a romantic getaway!

My boyfriend and I stayed in this cabin for 3 nights and 4 days in October. When I was looking for a cabin, I wanted something isolated so that we could go in to town and then have a quiet place to go home to. This was absolutely perfect! It's set in between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge up in the Smokies. It's a 10 minute drive up to the cabin from the main road, and believe me it's an entertaining ride! The cabin itself is very cozy and comfortable. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. My boyfriend and I went up for our anniversary, and we decided to go out to dinner the first night and then cook for the remainder of the trip. The kitchen was well equipt for cooking. The bed was pretty comfortable, I would just suggest bringing an extra blanket if you decide to stay during a winter month. The comforter is warm, but we got a little chilly when our fire went out. The weather was absolutely gorgeous, and the locals are fantastic. We found an annual festival when we were there. It was great to see the local culture! We would definitely reccommend this cabin to anyone looking for a beautiful mountain getaway. My boyfriend and I are definitely thinking about going back during Dec. or Jan. to ski in Gatlinburg!

Well....as far as the cabin goes it was great. Now the review website needs some work. I had finished a nice 500 character review and it was lost before I could hit submit. I would recommend this cabin to anyone. The whirlpool was comfortable and the hot tub was great after a long day of riding. I am glad we rented the cabin we did as it would have been a real challenge to get to some of the other cabins with a fully loaded down motorcycle. This cabin had all the amenities of home and we wished we had it closer to home as a second property.
