Reviews for this vacation cabin rental in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
Lacking TLC care
June 21, 2015
Remotes dead on arrival, blinds and entire cabin covered with dust. Walls between cabins not sound proof. Rocking chairs and Grill grates taken by adjoining cabin. Egg crate bed covers filthy and stained. Pull out beds not functional for sleep. No response from housekeeping. No equipment to do minimal cleaning, Vacuum cleaner, No Mop, no trash bags. Broken Beds. No cleaning under furniture. Filter Clogged on Air Conditioner. Not what we expected at all.
Not Worth The Price

I just stayed here the end of December for 4 nights. I had to call the first 3 days (several times a day because I would get no answer or call back from my voice mail ) because the hot tub didn't work and no outside lights. I was told to reset the breaker which didn't work. Finally day 3 the guy was there to fix the hot tub. It worked for a few hours and quit again. When asked for the a refund for it not working I was told the manager would get back to me and I still have not received a response or credit. Stay away!!!

We stayed in "Our Hiking Hideaway" with our daughter, son in law and 2 grandchildren. It was very easy to get to right off Wear's Valley road. The owners were very nice and answered all of our questions. The unit was very spacious. Would recommend this cabin to anyone. Enjoyed the fire works every night. You had to walk up to the large cross to be able to see them.

Good place to stay

This property is very close to the main strip in Pigeon Forge, which is great for the convenience factor. The property itself is well-maintained, and stocked well with blankets/pillows/ and general information about the area. The shower door upstairs was not in the track, so had to be careful getting in and out. If we were staying in Pigeon Forge, I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Arrived to find the owner up on the roof! Now that was a new one! Townhouse was spotless & equipped with everything necessary for a delightful vacation! Location was quiet yet convenient! Would absolutely consider again!
Palm Coast, Florida
We absolutely loved the cabin! Had a great time in the mountains other than getting a little bruised from tubing down the river. The cabin was beautiful and our kids loved the bottom level they basically had their own house down there. Thanks again and we will rent from you next time we visit the Smokey's!
This is a great rental. Cabin had plenty of room for our family. Location is near everything we wanted to do. Finishing our day at this relaxing retreat was a big plus on this vacation.
Lovely, very clean & great location!
This cabin was beuatiful and there was so much room. We will go back again!
Cabin is family friendly, more room than you could ever imagine in a 2 bedroom. Easily could sleep 8 people. The hot tub is perfect for relaxing after a long day of activities. Also, we loved not being in Gatlinburg. I have never been to Pigeon Forge before this trip and preferred Pigeon Forge location over the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg. There are so many family activities less than a 1/2 mile from the cabin but you can still drive 5 miles to Gatlinburg to ski or tube. I cannot say enough about the cabin and the wonderful owners.
We have found the perfect Pigeon Forge spot here at the "Hiking Hideaway". Kristin has been so helpful and this cabin is beautiful. The accomodations were perfect. We are already planning our next stay.
Just wanted to tell you we loved the cabin. I was afraid it was going to be too small for the 8 of us but it was perfect. It was so relaxing we just wanted to stay at the cabin but we did venture out some. Our youngest grandson loved Baxter the Bear. We hope to stay here again.
We had a blast. Our young one loved Baxter the Bear. Loved the fireplaces.
We loved staying at your cabin. Our boys enjoyed the lower level; it was their man cave. Perfect location as well; had the mountain feel but close enough to everything
We had the best vacation we could have imagined. We hiked to Rainbow Falls, saw a big black bear, went ziplining, bungie jumping and even braved the cold waters whitewater rafting. I have told all of my friends about this vacation. I will refer your cabin to everyone. I cannot thank you enough. The kids said it was the best vacation they have ever had. Better than Mexico and Florida! Thanks again!
